Acknowledgement & Month’s Mind Mass

We the family of the late Patricia Gallanagh (née Fullerton), a much loved wife, mother, nana, sister & friend, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude to all those who supported us at this difficult time.

We are especially grateful to the wonderful home help who cared for her so compassionately, to all her carers, nurses and doctors who cared for her with such kindness & dignity. Thank you to the lovely staff in the Sliabh Sneacht Centre for giving her days out of the house. Your compassion, kindness and help was greatly appreciated by our entire family.

We thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral from near and far. Huge thanks to our extended family, neighbours and friends, to all who helped clear the snow from our driveway & parking areas, those who assisted with parking, for making sandwiches, dinners & helping us at the wake, all who shared lovely stories about Patricia, all who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and messages of condolences. We are beyond grateful for your kindness and support.

Heartfelt thanks to Stephen, John and Nicola of Porter Funeral Directors for their caring, professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

Our sincere thanks to Fr Francis Bradley for his spiritual support and for celebrating such a personal and meaningful Funeral Mass. Thank you also to all who contributed to make the funeral mass so special, for the beautiful music and singing, which added greatly to the service.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. A mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Patricia’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Church Cockhill on Sunday 1st February (St. Brigid’s Day) at 11am.

1st Anniversary

Ollie Lynch

The tide rolls in, the tide drifts out,
Your boat now sails a quieter route.
No nets to cast, no lines to tend,
Just peaceful waters without end.

The morning mist still greets the shore,
But you won’t rise to fish once more.
Instead, you’ve found a calmer sea,
Where time drifts on eternally.

We’ll miss your tales, your patient ways,
The sunlit hours, the golden days.
Yet in each wave, each seabird’s call,
We’ll hear your laughter, feel it all.

So rest, dear Ollie, your journey’s done,
Your final catch, the setting sun.
And though you’ve sailed beyond our view,
The sea still keeps our love for you.

Ollie's 1st Anniversary Mass will be held in St Mary's Oratory, Buncrana on Sunday 18th January at 12.30 pm.

1st Anniversary

Kian O Brien

It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
A part of me went with you
The day God called you home.
A million times I've cried,
If loving could have saved you
You never would have died.
Forgive me Lord, I'll always weep
For my Son I loved so much
But yet could not keep

Loved and missed so much by Mum & Dad, Joey, Kyle and Kalem ###

Kian's 1st Anniversary Mass will be held in St Mary's Church Clonmany on Friday 07th November at 7.30pm.
