We , the family of the late Margaret McCallion would like to express our sincere thanks to all who offered their support at this difficult time.

Thank you to family, friends and neighbours who attended the wake, provided food, sent Mass cards and flowers and helped us in any way during this sad time.

To Fr. Baker for his prayers and support and beautiful Requiem Mass, to Hugh P. and Maria for the beautiful music.

Acknowledgment & Months Mind Mass

The wife and family of the late Jack McLaughlin would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us during our recent sad loss.

Thank you to all those who attended the wake and funeral and to those who travelled to be with us, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, phoned and offered messages of condolences & donations in lieu of flowers. Thank you to those who provided food and helped in any way during the wake.

A very special thank you to Buncrana Medical Centre, Duffy’s chemist, CCU Letterkenny and the Donegal Hospice, your compassion and kindness has been greatly appreciated by all our family.

A heartfelt thank you to Fr Bradley for his home and hospital visits and also for the lovely funeral mass. Thank you to Fr McGoldrick, Fr Baker and Fr McFaul who gave their support to us during the wake. Thank you also to Fr Briody who also attended Jack in the hospice.
A special thanks to Danny McCarron and Evelyn McGonigle for the lovely music and singing they provided during the funeral mass.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Porters Funeral Directors for their kindness, compassion & professionalism shown to us at this very difficult time.
A special thank you to Nicola and the staff in The Laurentic for the beautiful meal served after the funeral.

The peaceful death has taken place of Grainne Walsh (née Coll), Clonmany (formerly of Ballyliffen and Gweedore).

Remains reposing at her daughter Sinead’s home at Muineagh, Linsfort, Buncrana, F93 E6DN.

Deeply regretted by her family Tracy, Sinéad, Fionnuala, Kevin, Diarmuid and Robert.

House private from 10pm to 11am on both nights.

Funeral mass at 2pm on Saturday 4th October in St Michael’s Church, Urris, with burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Funeral leaving home at 1:15pm on Saturday, going via Pinch Road and Clonmany.

The death has taken place in Donegal Hospice of Jack Mc Laughlin (Strain), Munagh, Buncrana F93 K0F5.

Heartbroken by his passing are his loving wife Eileen, sons and daughters Denis, John (Catherine), Helena (Mick), Philip (Bridget), Kathy (Tom) & Annette (Danny); grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Deeply saddened are his siblings, Kathleen, Rosemary, Liam, Hughie, Margaret, Paddy & Denis; brothers and sisters -in-law, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Jack will be reposing at his home from 6pm this evening, Thursday (25 September) where all are welcome to come and pay their respects.

Removal from there on Saturday (27 September) at 10.15am going to Star of the Sea, Desertegney for Requiem Mass at 11am with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

We, the family of the late Frances Doherty who passed away on the 1st of September 2025, would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us during our recent sad loss. Thank you to all those that attended the wake and funeral, from near and far, who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, donations and offered condolences.
We will be forever grateful.

Thank you to the home help, who cared for her so compassionately in her home.

A heartfelt thank you to all the paramedics and staff in letterkenny hospital and Donegal hospice. Your compassion, kindness and help was greatly appreciated by our entire family during this very difficult time.

A special thank you to our extended family, friends and neighbours who provided food and offered support during the wake and the weeks that followed.

A very special thank you to Fr Bradley for his hospital and home visits which provided Frances with comfort and ease. Also, for the most beautiful funeral mass where he effortlessly portrayed the incredible and beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and woman she truly was. A special thanks to Fr Baker who attended the wake. A special thanks to Marie Fitzpatrick for the beautiful music and singing during the funeral Mass.

Deeply saddened by her death are sons Kieran (Marie) Paul (Sandra) daughter Mairead (Noel) grandchildren Adam, Rachel, Kieran and Lucas, her sister Pat and wider family circle.

Pre deceased by her husband Leo, parents Jim and Jane, brothers John, Vincent and B.

Margaret’s remains with be reposing at her residence from 6pm this evening (Monday) where all are welcome to come and pay their respects.

Removal from there on Wednesday morning at 10am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Reqieum Mass at 11am with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The peaceful death has taken place in Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny surrounded by her loving family of Frances Doherty, (nee McDaid) 1 Lisowen Avenue, Buncrana F93 K4K2.

Heartbroken by her passing are her loving Husband Barney, Sons and Daughters Owen, Marie, Kathleen, Seamus, Fiona, Gwendoline, Bernard, Karol and Charlene; Sons-in-Law, Daughters-in-law, 30 adored grandchildren and cherished great- grandson Brody.

Deeply Saddened are her sister Katie O Donnell & Anthony Mc Daid, Brothers & Sisters-in-Law, nieces and nephews and wider family circle.

Frances' remains are reposing at her home - Strictly Family Only today Monday Please.
Wake on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am - 10pm where all are welcome to come and pay their respects.

House Private from 10pm - 11am on both nights please and on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral leaving there at 10.15am on Thursday 04th September going to St Mary's Church Cockhill for Reqieum Mass at 11am with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The peaceful death has taken place in Beechhill Manor Nursing Home, Fahan of Owen Kavanagh, Clonbeg, Buncrana.

Pre-deceased by his late Parents and his brother Jim.

Owen’s remains will be reposing at Porter’s Funeral Home tomorrow (Friday 29th August) from 4pm to 6.15pm where all are welcome to come pay their respects.
Removal from there at 6:15pm going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass on Saturday 30th August at 11am with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Tommy (husband) and family of the late Bridget McCarron would like to express our sincere thanks to all who offered their support at the time of her death.
A special word of thanks to Dr. Van Dessel and all the staff at Inishowen Medical for their kind attention to Bridget.
Thank you to neighbours friends and extended family who attended the wake, sent cards, provided food and helped in any way.
A very special thank you to the four wonderful HSE Homecare Assistants, Kim, Jacky, Claire and Caroline, who attended to mum with such kind affection and professionalism. Sincere thanks also to Eileen PHN and Mary palliative care Nurse for all their support not only to Bridget but to the entire family.
We are very grateful to Fr. Bradley for his support, not only to Bridget, but to Tommy and all the family, and also for the lovely funeral mass and months mind mass.
We are grateful to Danny McCarron for the beautiful music.
