Acknowledgement & Month’s Mind

We, the family of the late Bridie Bradley (Wadge), a much loved and dearly missed partner, mother, sister and friend, wish to thank, from the bottom of our hearts, everyone who supported and comforted us during our recent bereavement

We are deeply grateful to all who attended Bridie’s wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers, and messages of condolence. A very special thank you to everyone who travelled to Ireland to be with us — your presence and unwavering support gave us great comfort and will never be forgotten.

At a time when our hearts were broken, your kindness, prayers, and words of comfort carried us and gave us strength when we needed it most. We will always hold that generosity and care close to our hearts.

We would like to extend a special word of thanks to Fr. Bradley for his visit to the wake, his prayers, and for celebrating such a beautiful and meaningful funeral Mass for Bridie. Our sincere thanks also to Hugh P. Doherty and Maria for the truly lovely music, which brought such comfort and added a special warmth to the funeral service. We are also very grateful to the altar servers and Eucharistic ministers for their reverence and support.

Our thanks to Mears Repatriation (London), and our sincerest appreciation to Porter Funeral Directors, Buncrana, for their care, compassion, guidance, and professionalism throughout all the arrangements. Their support helped ease a very difficult time for us, and we are deeply thankful.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation for all the love, kindness, and support shown to us.

Bridie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana, Co. Donegal, on Monday 16th March at 10.00am.

1st Anniversary

Ollie Lynch

The tide rolls in, the tide drifts out,
Your boat now sails a quieter route.
No nets to cast, no lines to tend,
Just peaceful waters without end.

The morning mist still greets the shore,
But you won’t rise to fish once more.
Instead, you’ve found a calmer sea,
Where time drifts on eternally.

We’ll miss your tales, your patient ways,
The sunlit hours, the golden days.
Yet in each wave, each seabird’s call,
We’ll hear your laughter, feel it all.

So rest, dear Ollie, your journey’s done,
Your final catch, the setting sun.
And though you’ve sailed beyond our view,
The sea still keeps our love for you.

Ollie's 1st Anniversary Mass will be held in St Mary's Oratory, Buncrana on Sunday 18th January at 12.30 pm.
