Contrary to popular belief we can confirm that Cormac is not in the strait of Hormuz drawing oil out of Iran by the 5-gallon drum. But has had an operation on his eye and is on the mend, we wish Cormac a speedy recovery and get him back in the truck doing what he does best.

Jesus Wept, these two boys earned their keep these last few days.
We are fully stocked, loaded and operating at full capacity, pumping through the night, till the dawns early light. This last week, we were flying by the seat of our pants at times, I can assure you it was not for the faint hearted. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you the customers for your patience, understanding and calmness in what was a difficult situation for all. But I’m glad to be able to say:
‘Let’s get back to business’

We have run out of road diesel at the depot. Please do not make an unnecessary journey. There is road diesel at the pump in Waterville but it is critical, we request all customers to cap there transactions at €30, we have no way of enforcing this, it’s only an appeal for consideration of others. We are in contact with Whitegate refinery and we are being updated in real time. If anyone has grievances they wish to raise, it needs to be brought to the attention of their political representative. Stay posted for updates.

I recently found a booklet that was published by our Oig Club na Dromoda back in 1997. It featured some lovely articles from that year and brought back a lot of memories. One such article in it, was written by our very own Dromid man Jack O’ Connor about Scoil Uí Chonaill’s great win in April of that year. I’m sure Jack is delighted that he went on to win many finals after that game 😊. We also remember the late Triona Donovan RIP, whom John Alan dedicated the cup in her memory, that day.

Ok folks, its that time of year, be assured we are working around the clock to meet every customer’s demands, we are on top of things on the lead up to Christmas our busiest time of year. To ensure a smooth ride at the most stressful time of year we know the last thing you need on Christmas day is to be without, central heating, hot water or worse still an oven if its kerosene powered, we recommend two plans and we are speaking from experience,
Plan A: get the orders in early, we will be working up until the 24th round the clock so don’t let it go to the last hour to avoid a bumpy Christmas
Having failed that
Plan B: stick the kettle on, please see attached pic.

Today is a very proud day for Sceilg Ola because its the first day in the forty year history of the company that we have 4 lorries out delivering on the byroads of South Kerry. We fondly remember it's founders way back in the mid 80's, the late Boru and Sean. But It would never be possible without all of you, our very loyal customers! There were 2 extra places set this morning for the tea break, our local man Graham O Sullivan was passing and happened to have Sam in the passenger seat with him, we were delighted to accommodate the two boys and both are more then welcome to make this an annual visit. As always, we are proud to recognise Graham’s achievements on the biggest stage, it’s a win for the local rural communities everywhere. Mile buiochas Graham!
