Wishing all our Residents,Staff,Families and Friends a very Happy Easter weekend 🐣
We have been busy over the past few weeks decorating the home for Easter continuing our daily activities and getting out for walks when the weather allowed.
The residents enjoyed recent flower arranging and a wonderful afternoon of music with Dee Morrissey🎶💐

Today in St Martha’s we celebrated a very special ladies 101st Birthday.
Our dear friend Nora was joined by friends,residents and staff to celebrate her big day.
Thanks to Cahir’s Men’s Shed for a wonderful afternoon of music & dance.
Nora was thrilled to receive a special letter and medal from our President of Ireland.
All in St Martha’s wish Nora lots of good health and happiness for the year ahead🎉🎉🎉

We are delighted to confirm that the amount raised from our Denmi Day for Dementia The Alzheimer Society of Irelandthatvwas held last Friday was a total of €955.🎉🎉
Thanks so much to everyone who kindly donated .It is very much appreciated .Dementia touches so many families across Ireland and wearing our Denmi on the day was a simple but powerful way to show support and help fund vital services..

We were delighted to take part in Denim Day for Dementia yesterday in St Martha’s and don our denmi for the day👖
Throughout the week we created beautiful Arts n Crafts with old recycled denmi and everyone embraced the activities.Thanks very much to the very creative and talented staff and residents.
We started the day with a very lively exercise/dance session and in the afternoon everyone enjoyed an ice cream party to mark the event.
Thanks to everyone who have been so generous with their donations so far and on Monday we hope to reveal the amount raised and the winners of our raffle prices😀

We were delighted to welcome Conor Stakelum and the Liam McCarthy cup to St Martha’s today.💙💛
The residents enjoy watching all the matches and the flags and bunting were flying high throughout the year so it was a wonderful occasion to meet Conor and hear all about the training schedules and matches and we even had one rebel among us😀
