Fantastic initiative 👏

𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐄𝐀 🎬🍰

After a break, we’re delighted to return in collaboration with 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 and to celebrate two years since the launch of this much loved programme!

Our screenings will now take place once a month, bringing you the same classic films and good company.

We’re kicking things off with a 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 showing of the 1973 classic 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆.

☕ €10 including Afternoon Tea | Carers go free!

We’ve seen for ourselves how much this programme has helped people even just getting out of the house, meeting others, and enjoying a chat can make such a difference.

Recognising the Signs of Domestic Abuse and Control

Domestic abuse isn’t always physical. It can be subtle, invisible, and deeply damaging. Abuse is about power and control — and it can happen to anyone.

Here are some signs to look out for:
• 🚫 Isolation – Cutting you off from friends, family, or support.
• 💬 Gaslighting – Making you doubt your own memory or reality.
• 💰 Financial Control – Limiting your access to money or monitoring every penny.
• 📱 Monitoring – Checking your phone, emails, or whereabouts without consent.
• 🗣 Criticism & Belittling – Constantly undermining your confidence or worth.
• 🚨 Intimidation – Using threats, looks, or gestures to cause fear.

If you recognise these behaviours — in your relationship or someone else’s — know that it’s not your fault and help is available.
