We are proud to celebrate our Caregivers of the Year across Atlantic Care 💙

Each of our offices — Mayo, Northwest, and Midlands — has recognised an outstanding individual who truly represents what caregiving is all about:

Each month, we honour exceptional carers through our Caregiver of the Month awards, celebrating those who go above and beyond in delivering care with Dignity, Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence. Our Mission at Atlantic Care is to provide compassionate and exceptional homecare services that enhance the well-being of individuals in the community. Our home care services are personalized to each individual.

Due to expansion, we are currently looking for a motivated and a well organised Care Supervisor to manage and lead a team of Caregivers in Co. Sligo.

Requirements:
📌QQI Level 6 in Health related discipline (or equivalent qualification)
📌A minimum of 2 years working in community / social care environment
📌Excellent communication skills
📌Ability to work proactively and efficiently
📌Good knowledge of IT processes
📌Full Irish driving license and access to own car
📌Must Reside in Ireland

The responsibilities of the Care Supervisor include and are not limited to;
💙Supervision of care staff: Oversee the daily activities of caregivers, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed to ensure high-quality care services are delivered to clients.
💙Staff training and Development: Facilitate Induction and other relevant training. Identify areas for further and ongoing training for caregivers.
💙Client Assessment and care planning: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients care needs and preferences, develop care plans, and ensure that care plans and risk assessments are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changes in clients conditions.
💙Quality Assurance and compliance: Monitor the quality of care services and compliance with relevant policies and procedures . Keep up to date and accurate records
💙Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the care team, including office staff and members of the multidisciplinary teams.
