How to get the most out of a Soundbath.
Arrive early , give yourself time to get settled into the space. Wear warm clothes, come in your fluffy Pjs if you want !
Make sure you are comfortable. I suggest bringing a cushion for your head, a pillow or a bolster to support your knees to relieve pressure on your back and your yoga mat. Yoga mats are available if needed. A heated eye mask will be provided.
Avoid heavy meals for approximately 2 hours before the session and NO alcohol before or after the session. The effects of alcohol are exacaberated by the sound vibration and it will make you dehydrated and give you a headache. It will also interfer with the healing process.
Drink water after the session and if any emotions come up, let them arise so they can be released. Journalling can assist with this process.
Sound has the ability to shift stagnant suppressed emotions . You may feel tingling, heat , cold , pain, discomfort, restlessness. Know this is a good thing and energy/ emotions are moving , breathe through the experience and let them go.
