Today, pupils at Ballylast National School shared their home practice, completed a wellbeing sheet, and fully unwound with a very relaxing meditation 💫 The staff also received the meditation 😊 We look forward to next week. Aoibheann x ❤️

Aoibheann Gallen of ReNew You has been involved in the Wellness industry for over twenty-five years and is practicing meditation since 2000 having trained in various meditation practices including mindfulness meditation. Aoibheann further studied mindfulness for teaching children and teens, to deal with strong feelings and emotions. Aoibheann teaches mindfulness & well-being programmes to children, teens, adults, schools, school teachers, athletes, communities and youth groups. Aoibheann’s ReNew You well-being programmes are greatly benefiting pupils in both primary and secondary schools. The programmes include the unique ReNew You Primary and Secondary School Apps, which allows the pupils to continue the practice of meditation in class.
What is Mindfulness? Mindfulness is nothing other than present-moment awareness, an open and friendly awareness to understand what is going on in and around you. It means living in the present moment (which is not the same as thinking about the present moment) without judging or ignoring anything or getting carried away by the pressures of everyday life.
Children are taught in an easy to understand and playful manner. Teens are taught in an easy to understand and engaging manner.
