The death has occurred of Jarrah Folkman, Jarria House, Donge, Cootehill, Cavan, H16 DH76, aged 14 years, Monday February 2nd 2026 peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

The death has occurred of Fr. Eugene King OMI, Ottawa, Canada, formerly of Drumhirk, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, peacefully in hospital in Ottawa on Thursday 18th December 2025.

Predeceased by parents Robert and Annie, brothers Gerard and Robert, and sister Mary. Gene will be sadly missed by his nieces Alexandra, Louise and Bernadette, nephews Robert and Stephen, cousins from the King and Dowd families, and many dear colleagues and friends.
