The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Moore, Oldtown, Cavan Town, Friday 24th April, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Gerry & Clare and his brother Feargal.

Our loving, gentle, and ever wise family man will be dearly missed by his true love Helena, five children Moya, Joseph, Sam, Feargal and Isabelle, in-laws Kevin, Jane and Claire, five wonderful grandchildren Faye, Ted, Naomi, Finn and Tadhg, his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and his wide circle of friends.

A beloved husband and adoring father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Paddy lived an exciting life full of adventure, laughter, and love - something we will cherish in the days to come. He fought a hard and brave battle but stayed in good spirits until the end.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12RF78) from 4pm-6pm on Sunday 26th April 2026. Private memorial service and cremation at Lakelands Funeral Home & Crematorium for family and close friends on Monday 27th April 2026 at 11am.

The death has occurred of Adam Green, Callaghs, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan. Peacefully on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 in the loving care of his family at home.

Cherished husband to Clare, and beloved father to Mia and Alfie. Adam will be deeply missed by his wife, children, mother Anna and father Colin, brothers Philip and Scott, nieces, nephews, cousins, his extended family, and many friends.

The death has occurred of Geraldine Doyle (née Callaghan), Drumora, Crossdoney, Friday April 24th, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of St Luke’s Hospital, Dublin.

Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Eileen, brothers in law Kevin Kealy and Steve Murdock.

Beloved wife and best friend of Seamus and loving mother of Barry (Caroline), Paul (Chloe) and Shane, grandchildren Clodagh, Rian and Conor, her siblings Vincent (Majella), Cathy, Padraig (Julie), Carmel (Charlie), Imelda (Jackie), Micheal, mother-in-law Una Doyle, brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives, and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road Cavan (H12RF78) tomorrow Saturday April 25th, from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 2pm in St. Patrick's Church, Drumcor, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Greta Kearns (née Conaty), New Inn, Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan, peacefully and with great dignity at home surrounded by her loving family.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by Caroline, David, Anthony, and John D, her brother-in-law Joe O'Shea, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, carers, neighbours, and friends.

The death has occurred of Paddy (Patrick) Conlon, New Jersey, USA. Formerly of 9 Earlsvale Rd, Cavan. Peacefully on Thursday 16th April 2026 in the loving care of his family and staff in Jersey Shore University Medical Centre, New Jersey.


Predeceased by his Mother Winnie and his Father Paddy. Cherished husband to Mary Kay, and beloved father to Megan. He will be deeply missed also by his son in law Les, and grandson Abel.

Paddy will be sadly missed by his brother Ger (Linda), and sisters Mary (Patsy), Phil (Joe), Bernie (Sam), Marty, Freda (Patrick), and Katie (Michael), his many nieces, nephews, cousins, his extended American family, and many friends.


Beloved by all who knew him, may his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.


Cremation to take place in New Jersey. Funeral Mass and burial to take place in Killygarry later.

The death has occurred of Alfie Halliday, Cormore, Arva, Co. Cavan, Saturday April 18th, 2026, peacefully in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Alfie will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Iris, sons John and William, daughters Sylvet and Barbara, daughter in law Debbie, son in law Pauric, grandchildren Jason, Dana, Peter and William, brother Morrison, sisters May and Evelyn, nieces, nephews, relatives and all the family circle.

Memorial Mass for Mal will take place on Saturday 18th April at 12.00 noon in St Felim's Church, Ballinagh. Interment of ashes will follow afterwards in the family grave.

The death has occurred of Mal Brady, Oxford, U.K and late of Brady's pub, Dublin Road, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, Saturday October 25th peacefully in Oxford.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Bernie, son Adrian, daughter Catherine, his adored grandchildren Sam, Louis, Jack, Olivia and Kieran, son in law, daughter in law, brothers Seamus and Willie, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.
