Removal from his home tomorrow Friday to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Clifferna at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11.30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mattie Conaty, Stradone Village, Co. Cavan. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness bravely borne. Pre-deceased by his father Terence and sister-in-law Teresa.

Deeply regretted by his heart broken wife and best friend Carmel. Sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his mother Bridget, brothers and sisters Johnny (Margaret), Mary (Danny), Eileen (Norbert), Terence and PJ, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Mary & Bernard, Liam & Martina, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours, relatives and his many friends.

Reposing at Lakeland's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow Wednesday from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from his home on Thursday, to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Laragh for Funeral Mass at 2pm, followed by cremation in Lakeland's Crematorium. Patrick (Paddy) Farrelly, Corfeyhone, Poles, Co. Cavan. Wednesday, March 11th 2026. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Margaret, sisters Anna Marie and Susan.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife and best friend Kathleen and loving children Margaret, Kate, Patrick, John James and Martin. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his brother John, his adoring grandchildren Zephan, Kara, Saoirse, Patrick, Ultán, Síomhaith, Grace, daughters-in-law Amanda, Orla and Mairead, son-in-law Noel, nieces, nephew, brother-in-law, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Rose Cooney (nee Brady), Tierlahood, Stradone, Co. Cavan. Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family in her 101st year. Predeceased by her husband Kevin, brother John and sisters Sadie, Philomena and Rita.

Deeply regretted by her loving family Mary (Sean), Geraldine (Vincent), Albert (Patricia), Norbert (Geraldine), Tom (Mary), Teresa, Pat (Mary) and John (Rose Marie).
