This service is designed to support diabetic and pre-diabetic patients, individuals pursuing weight loss goals, and those managing hypertension, fatty liver disease, cardiovascular disease, and other general dietetic concerns.

Clinic offerings:
• In-person initial comprehensive dietetic assessment
• Personalised treatment planning tailored to your goals
• Structured follow-up, available in person or via virtual clinic

Appointments are by GP referral.

In advance of the official opening of Bon Secours Clinic Cavan in Autumn 2025, the Clinic celebrated a significant milestone with a special Blessing Ceremony led by Fr Kevin Fay, Parish Priest of Cavan. The event marked a meaningful moment in the life of the clinic, bringing together staff, members of local religious orders, and representatives from across the Bon Secours Health System. The event reflected our continuing commitment to providing compassionate care rooted in the Bon Secours tradition, and to fostering a healing environment for all who enter our doors.

A reminder to prioritise your health and ensure to get regular blood pressure checks.

An interesting article in today’s Examiner, based on a new report from The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (Tilda), reveals that 43% of adults aged 50 and older have high blood pressure and shockingly 36% are unaware of it. Dr. Angie Brown, medical director of the Irish Heart Foundation who is also part of our consultant cardiologist team at Bon Secours Hospital Dublin, highlights in the article the serious risks of uncontrolled blood pressure, including heart attacks, strokes, and even dementia. This is a vital reminder to prioritise your health and ensure to get regular blood pressure checks.
