Yoga is a wonderful practice for body and mind. It has been practised for thousands of years and it has been proven to make the body healthy and the mind calm, so that contentment, balance and harmony can be brought into daily life. Yoga means union or to "unite". Everyone can practise yoga, even those of us who are unwell. Yoga poses, modified where necessary, help us to regain or maintain strength and suppleness of the muscles and joints. Regular practice of yoga may result in many benefits to both the physical and mental states. BENEFITS:

Hatha yoga is suitable for everyone whatever your flexibility or fitness level is and is also excellent for beginners. Yoga classes are offered from a beginner to advanced level. Classes also includes a strong therapeutic approach that enable those with any body restrictions or injuries to enjoy a regular yoga practice. All students are very much encouraged to progress at their own pace. The class will include a gentle breathing practice, simple yoga poses using the breath that will stretch, tone and build strength and flexibility in the body and a wonderful relaxation to close to help you feel more grounded. An introduction to a simple meditation practice is introduced throughout the classes. Yoga is about having some fun and bringing lightheartedness in our daily lives while discovering who you are.

Spring is in the air and no better time to remind us to also take care of yourself.

Life has a way harbouring our attention outside and often we forget that the "inner" landscape needs to be re-plenished and nourished.

I am so excited to annouced my annual weekend retreat away at the stunning Ballyvalloo Retreat Centre, Blackwater, Co Wexford. Fri 27th - 29th March 2026.
This weekend is not about fixing anything, it's about nourishing you!

Last September, I took a massive step ....

I began the a journey of self inquiry through my personal yoga practice. I became used to how I always showed up and practiced.

Something was missing .. it was that sense I "feeling" into what I was actually doing.

What was my "why"? I needed to explore something deeper that was not outside myself but within my roots.
-
As many of you know, somatic movement is integral to my classes as it calls us to sense and feel what the body is speaking to us. I began a journey of Somatics over 10 years ago and it features so strong in my personal practice.
-
But the magic began to happen when I had the most amazing opportunity over 9 months to delve deeper through continued learning into how to weave somatics and yoga together with the masterful Caitriona Leavey from Flowteam Academy Training.
-
My classes have evolved and are somatically infused with gentle movement to invite you into to the wisdom of your body, moving with ease while bringing stability, lightness a real relationship with the space around you.

What does this mean? Maybe leaning into your life, might seem a little less overwhelming and you move through with more ease. This is "yoga off the mat"

Our students have shown even more committment to themselves. They are floating out of classes with a sense of lightness, joy and something different that they haven't felt in a while.

I needed this today! 🙏

Because it’s easy to think the answer is “out there” one more idea, one more plan, one more push.

But real inner growth usually looks quieter than that.

Our roots help us to feel grounded, stable and steady. 🌳

This could look like:

🔹️getting honest about what matters most for you.

🔹️showing up consistently (even when it’s not exciting)

🔹️protecting your boundaries

🔹️saying what you actually mean, what's in your heart.

If you’re feeling a little all over the place, come back to the roots.

Being grounded brings clarity in this moment.

Becoming the calmness in the storm. 🧘‍♀️

I want to say thank you for all the messages you’ve shared with me lately about what stress looks like for you!

So many of your stories are deeply familiar.

When I learned that having thoughts was normal during meditation, this changed everything for me.

And I want you to hear this today! 😀

🌿 Meditation isn’t about stopping your thoughts.

So if you’ve been trying to “clear your mind” and feeling like you’re failing… you’re not failing.

A busy mind doesn’t mean meditation isn’t working.

It means you’re a living Being🌿

Have you ever noticed the body reacts to uncertainty? Not knowing outcomes?

We are hardwired to be "prepared" as this is part of our physiology.

We like to know every step ahead to know what's coming.

But this is where we can get stuck.

Our path is no one else's path and the only way is one step at a time. Each part shines like a torch to the next.

With our own inner knowing voice, taking one step and adding trust, we are foraging through .

It's never wrong although it might "look" wrong to the mind.

But with heart + trust + ONE step = profound change.✨️💛✨️

The more you do this, even in small a way, the more you will trust your decisions.

And gain confidence on your own path ✨️
