Puppy Therapy Day 🐶💛

Our residents absolutely love when the puppy come to visit. The moment those little paws walk through the door, the room fills with happiness, laughter, and so many smiles. Watching our residents cuddle, chat to, and play with the puppies brings such warmth and joy to everyone.

These visits create beautiful moments — sparking memories, lifting spirits, and brightening the whole day. The comfort and companionship these little bundles of fluff bring is simply priceless.

Busy days here in Esker Ri! ☀️ The sunshine has been absolutely lovely and it really makes such a difference to everyone’s mood.

Our residents have been enjoying plenty of fun games, relaxing walks, and lots of great moments together. It’s wonderful to see so many smiles and hear the laughter throughout the day.

Days like these remind us how special the little things can be. 🌼

We had such a lovely, relaxing morning with Jen today 💆‍♀️✨

Our residents enjoyed reflexology, soothing massages, and refreshing facials, all paired with a calming music meditation. The peaceful atmosphere and gentle self-care made for smiles, serenity, and a truly special experience for everyone involved.

We’ve had some students on work experience from Ard Scoil Chiaráin with us over the past week, and they have been absolutely fantastic! 🌟

The residents loved having them here — they brought such positive energy and creativity into the place. It’s so lovely to see the community getting involved, and they were truly like a breath of fresh air.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague, Sherin Abraham.

Sherin was a much-loved member of our team, known for her kindness, dedication, and the care she showed to both her colleagues and the people we support. She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her.

We also want to recognise the courage and sacrifice shown by so many who leave their home country, families, and communities to work abroad. Building a life and career far from home takes strength and commitment. We honour that journey and the contribution Sherin made, both professionally and personally.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Sherin’s family, friends, and all who are grieving at this very difficult time. We ask our community to continue showing compassion and support to one another.

Lights, camera, community! 🎬✨

On Friday evening, our residents enjoyed a truly special movie night as they made use of our brand-new cinema system for the very first time. It marked our first movie night since the purchase, and what a fantastic debut it was!

The residents chose the much-loved classic Mrs. Doubtfire, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter, comfort, and shared enjoyment as everyone settled in for a wonderful evening of film. To make the night even more special, there was fresh popcorn and a selection of tasty treats, adding that authentic cinema feel and plenty of smiles all around. 🍿🍬

It was a heartwarming evening and a perfect start to many more cozy, cinematic nights to come! 🎥💛

Yesterday at BookClub we enjoyed a lovely homemade brown soda made by the residents ☕️🥤 It was such a great morning filled with chats, laughter, and plenty of banter. We really love getting together and sharing these moments — it’s what BookClub is all about! 📚💬💛
