🌼 A Meaningful Afternoon at Our Home 🌼

Yesterday, we welcomed Sharon from Caru to speak with our families and residents about what Caru is and why it’s such an important service.

It can be a difficult topic to approach, but it’s one that truly matters — and Sharon made the conversation engaging, compassionate, and easy to understand.

Despite the heaviness of the subject, we shared a lovely afternoon together. There was learning, reflection, and even a bit of fun.

A heartfelt thank you to Sharon for her time and kindness, and to all the families and residents who joined us. 💛

Our wonderful residents will be taking to the runway, modeling beautiful outfits kindly provided by Kelly’s of Clara. It’s sure to be a fun and heartwarming afternoon celebrating style, smiles, and community spirit! 💕

What an incredible day we had celebrating our Daisy Award — a moment to recognise the heart, compassion, and dedication of our amazing nursing team. 💛

A huge congratulations to our four wonderful nominees: Fiona Sheridan, Christy, Gloria and Bency! Each of you embodies true care, empathy, and love for our residents every single day. 🌟

💫 Our Weekly Book Club! 💫

This week’s theme, “Our First True Love,” turned into such a beautiful afternoon of reminiscing, laughter, and heartfelt stories. ❤️ The room was full of smiles as everyone shared their memories — what a joy to listen!

We also treated ourselves to some delicious homemade white soda 🍞 (baked by the residents the day before!) and enjoyed it with a lovely cup of tea ☕. It truly was the perfect recipe for happiness — great company, warm memories, and lots of giggles! 😄

Here’s to many more wonderful mornings together! 💕📚

We had a wonderful morning carving pumpkins! 🎃✨ The residents had an amazing time showing off their creativity, and the staff loved joining in on the fun too. Smiles, laughter, and a few friendly pumpkin competitions made it a perfect morning! 🍁🧡

Lovely afternoon at Esker Ri — our residents enjoyed a relaxing cup of tea while painting together. Calm music, warm chats, and plenty of colour made it a perfect way to spend the day. 🎨☕💛

📚🥧 Book Club Bliss! 🥧📚

Our latest book club gathering was an absolute delight — filled with great conversation, laughter, and, of course, a heavenly slice (or two!) of banoffee pie! Whether everyone came for the books or the dessert, we’ll never know — but one thing’s for sure, it’s always wonderful to come together, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company.
