AMDAF to Host Language & Culture Exchange in Galway
Galway, 15/04/2026
The Amdalah Africa Foundation (AMDAF) will host its first Language & Culture Exchange on Saturday, 25th April at SCCUL Sanctuary, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway, from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
Part of the Community Integration Dialogue Project 2026, the event brings people together to promote inclusion, dialogue, and community connection.
A key highlight will be a panel discussion on “Language, Culture & Belonging,” featuring Ronan Melia (Fáilte Isteach Tuam), Stephanie Klapp (German language teacher and radio host), Azeezat Abdulrasheed (HR and Educational Consultant), Olena Domina (Ukrainian support worker), and Patrycja Lichocka (founder of four Polish schools in Galway). The session will be hosted by Islammiyah Saudique-Kadejo, Convener and CEO of GOCOM Radio.
Speaking ahead of the event, Islammiyah said: “This event creates a space for meaningful dialogue where people from different backgrounds can connect, share experiences, and build a stronger sense of belonging within our communities.”
Expect interactive activities, cultural exchange games, and a shared Food Fusion experience — a chance to celebrate languages, traditions, and lived experiences in a warm and welcoming space.
Join the conversation. Celebrate diversity. Build community.
