I can't speak highly enough of Jenni and her knowledge as she has kept me safe, fit, strong and challenged as I've gone through my pregnancy so far. I hope to keep training right up until the end as I know I'll be in the best of hands. Thanks Jenni, keep up the good work 😘💪
Jennifer’s at it again. She’s achieved yet another certificate. She’s achieved a few this year and is aiming to achieve at least 3 more in the area of Neuromuscular Therapy in the coming 15 months.
Just to point out these are nationally and internationally recognized achievements of excellence in a certain subject , area or aspect of health, fitness and healing. In order to achieve these certifications one must study and be able to understand the subjects and complete tasks, reports and exams, all regulated by the way, to the highest standards.
Attending a workshop is not an achievement of a new qualification; at best it’s a sharing of ideas which can further your knowledge in an area that you’ve already studied. At worst it’s a money making racket.
Thinking you know everything about the human body because you’ve spent lots of time in a gym listening to others and then backing your “knowledge” up with YouTube videos or internet “research” is not a qualification. That’s called BroScience. Just because it worked for you, doesn’t mean it will work for everyone. Anatomy doesn’t work like that.
And finally, deciding that qualifications currently available are not up to standard so you make up your own and hand out your own accreditation without any form of regulation; I’m not sure what you’d call that really? Stupidity? Dangerous? Outright crazy? Pseudo science?
Make sure the training facility you’re at is run by accredited coaches, proper ones, who follow a science, a proper one, and are properly insured and regulated. For your own health and well-being.
The Health and Fitness industry needs to be better regulated. In a big way.
So in closing, please congratulate Jenni on her journey towards constantly achieving excellence in her area of expertise. She’s a proper coach.
