Why queue for hours when you could get your Covid booster locally in just a few minutes? OK, that was 3 weeks ago and the queues in Citywest are not as long now, but why not get your booster here in Clondalkin? We are running walk-in booster clinics for everyone over 16 (you don't have to be a patient of this practice) this week Monday 10th, Tuesday 11th and Thursday 13th January 2-3.30PM. You don't need an appointment. As long is at least 3 months since your 2nd vaccine dose and you haven't had Covid in the last 3 months you are eligible.
You just need to know your PPS number so we can register you.

Walk-in Covid booster clinic in full swing this morning. We are now opening this up to all patients over 30. No appointment and no text message needed, provided it is at least 3 months since your 2nd Covid vaccine dose and you have not had Covid in the last 6 months.

Dr Treacy & Dr Nohilly are running a walk-in Covid Booster Clinic for our patients in Tower Medical Centre tomorrow Tuesday 21st December from 9AM - 12pm and 2 to 4PM. Unfortunately due to Health&Safety concerns there will be no on-site parking tomorrow. This walk in clinic is for practice patients only who have received a text from the practice asking them to present for vaccination. If it is more than 3 months since your second Covid vaccine and you have not had Covid in the last 6 months you are eligible.
If numbers are too high at certain times during the day we may have to ask patients to leave and come back later.
Please wear a short sleeved shirt and we will need your PPS number.

Without a booster, you are more at risk of serious illness if you get COVID-19. Read about how to get your booster dose.

You will be aware of the HSE cyber attack, which happened one week ago. Major disruptions to hospital services are ongoing.
Therefore we are unable to refer patients for Covid tests or any other tests such as x-rays. We are also unable to refer people for out-patient appointments. Access to labs is limited, so some days such as today, the lab is not accepting any samples form GP's.
Cervical screening has been suspended until further notice.
We are also unable to communicate with hospitals electronically as we normally would, so results are much slower.
If you need a Covid test, you can walk-in to the nearest test centre at Citywest 11AM-6.30PM
Hopefully things will be better this time next week.
In case of emergency you should still of course go to A/E or dial 999. If you are unsure contact TLC-DOC out of hours 045 848707
