Death Notice :Dr John Bandtock

The death has taken place of Dr John Bandtock, Bunacrick, Clonmany F93E7R2 and formerly Coventry.
Friend of Daniel Doherty, Beloved Father of Neil and Rodger, his daughters in law and grandchild, deeply missed by his extended family and friends, and all who knew him.
His remains will repose at his home today Sunday 12th October from 3pm till 8pm, tomorrow Monday from 11am till 8pm, family only please on the morning of the funeral.
All welcome to come pay their respects.
Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday 14th October at 10.30am, going to St Mary's Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

EIleen McDermott
(née Doherty)
Birmingham, UK, late of Scrine, Rahara, Co Roscommon and formerly of Clonmany, Co Donegal. Friday, 26th September, 2025. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her loving husband Frank, daughter Nicola, son Francis, grandsons William, Rory and Ellis, granddaughter Clementine, daughter-in-law Hannah, brothers Colm and Bernard, sister Mary Frances, nieces, nephews,relatives, neighbours and friends.

Eileen is predeceased by her parents Barney and Madge.

May Eileen's gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Hamrock's Funeral Home, Athleague (F42CC92) on Thursday, 9th October from 5.30pm to 7pm followed by removal to Church of Mary Immaculate, Rahara. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, 10th October at 11am with bural afterwards in Rahara Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed (link to follow). The sudden death has taken place in Wexford of Bernard (Brian) Devlin, beloved Father of Shannon and Shane.
Dear Son of Kathleen and the late Mack Devlin, Boharna, Clonmany.
Brother to Susanna (Michael), Denis (Róisín), Michael, Arthur (Sharon), Eileen (James), John, Mary (Eamonn) and the late Kathleen (Jimmy).
Brian's remain will repose at his family home, Boharna, Clonmany F93W952 on Thursday 2nd October from 12 midday.
Funeral leaving from there on Saturday 4th October at 10.30am, going to St Mary's Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the new cemetery,
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Saint Collumbcille Village, Co any family member or Comiskey Funeral Directors.
House private please from 10pm till 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Jimmy Ashe

The 9.30am, morning mass in St Mary's Church, Clonmany, on Thursday 18th September, will be offered up for Jimmy Ashe, Dorchester, Boston who recently passed away.
Jimmy will be remembered fondly by his Aunt Helen & Neil Gibbons, cousins and extended family and friends here.
Everyone is welcome to join Helen and Neil in Ballyhallion after Mass for some light refreshments.

The death has taken place at his home of Patrick Michael Gallen, Main Street, Clonmany, former postmaster, Clonmany post office.
Predeceased by his wife Brid, née McFadden , Loving father of Megan (Mickey) & Michael.
Brother of Gerard, Anne & Emer
His remain will repose at his home tomorrow Friday 15th August from 2pm till 10pm, Saturday 12 midday till 10pm and house private on the morning of the funeral.

Lenadoon, Belfast and formerly of Gortnahinson, Clonmany.

Cherished partner of Susan, loving father to Daniel, Micheal, Patricia, Theresa, Yvonne and Geraldine.
Beloved brother to Annie and Brigid. Predeceased by his brother Packy.
Adored grandfather and great grandfather.
Sadly missed by his sons and daughter in laws and the entire family circle.

Burial of Danny's ashes will take place on Saturday 16th August, in St. Mary's Church cemetery, Clonmany @ 5pm

Acknowledgement

We the family of the late Daniel Doherty (Denny Paddy Owen) 19 Gaddyduff, Clonmany, wish to express a sincere heartfelt thank you to our family, friends and neighbours and those who travelled to be with us over the wake and funeral, and those who helped in so many ways.
We would especially like to thank the Oncology, Haematology doctors and nurses, who provided care for Dad over the duration of his illness, the palative team, Mary, and Ciaran, the community nurse Dee Harkin and Doctor Fogarty for the care they provided when Dad was at home.
To Fr Sweeney for the funeral Mass, Breege the sacristan, Danny Mc Carron for the lovely music and the grave diggers.
Thank you to Paddy and Sean at Comiskey Funeral Directors for their professionalism and compassion with the wake and funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
