Adam, Loving you changed our world and our life and so it comes as no surprise that losing you changed our life too.
But it did not change our love for you. Not even a little.

I have often been asked how long will my grief stay, or When will I stop being sad?
In my experience the truth is, grief stays. It stays because we loved you with all our heart. And I know it’s the same for anyone who is missing someone they love, you don’t get over loss, that. You learn to carry it. Some times hidden, sometimes if luck you have a safe space or person with whom you can give your grief voice

When I held you in my arms… when we held you in our arms… we had no idea what lay ahead.
We certainly never expected that we would outlive you.

And now, instead of only marking your birthdays and other events although of course we will always celebrate the day you were born, we also mark the day you left our world. The day everything changed. The day the world was never the same for us.
It’s been 12 years since we heard your laughter, saw your smile, had a good row, or shared a cuppa and a bit of gossip.

You may be gone from our world physically, Adam, but you are held in our hearts always. Our love for you never fades. Our memories of you are treasures, precious, and real, and ours forever.

On this your 12th anniversary, we also take a moment to pause… and to hold in our hearts everyone, who has been here for us since your death, all who were with us and helped at the time of your deaths and for each person the world over, who misses their loved one too, I hold each in my heart.

We pause, because love doesn’t end and every memory is a treasure

‘Life is a wondrous and beautiful cycle, every milestone deserves to be celebrated’.

I am a Fully Qualified Independent Civil Celebrant, Life Coach, and Motivational Speaker.

As a Celebrant I Passionately believe in the Importance of Celebrating Life’s Events. I believe in Celebrating them in the way that is fitting for You regardless of tradition, cultural, religious or other beliefs.

One such wonderful aspect about being an Independent Civil Celebrant, is that I am in the lucky position to have the freedom to be able to deliver a Ceremony Free from any religious, spiritual, cultural or other aspects and Likewise, if it is important to You to have some of these aspects included, I can of course include them.
