We are sad to announce the passing of
Sarah (Sadie) Duffy
(née Brophy)
Main Street, Monasterevin, Co . Kildare, W34 RD35
formally of Lough, Portarlington.
16th February 2026

Sadie passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Louis, parents James and Christine, her infant brother Patrick, sister Elizabeth and brother Matt. Cherished mother of Patrick, Anne, Louis, Paul, Brian and Kevin. Sadie will be sadly missed by her daughter's in-law Anna, Tina, Liz and Lisa-Marie and her son in-law Thomas and her many grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her sisters Maura and Christina, her brothers Sean and Seamus, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relative's neighbours and large circle of friends.

Sadie will be reposing at her residence (W34 RD35) on Wednesday the 18th from 3pm –8pm. Recital of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Thursday morning at 10:30am to arrive at St. Peter and Pauls church Monasterevin for 11am Requiem Mass. Which can be viewed on We**am - https://www.monasterevinparish.ie/we**am/. Internment to follow in Saint Evins Cemetery.

William (Billy) Molloy
Fisherstown, Ballybrittas, Laois.
January 24th 2026

Billy Molloy passed away suddenly at his residence. Sadly missed by his loving family. Predeceased by his mother Chrissie and his father Joe. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters Mary, Ellen, Mag, Joe and John, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, neices, nephews , relatives, neighbours and friends.

Billy will be reposing at his sister Margaret’s residence ‘The Old Barracks’ Ballybrittas on Thursday 29th from 5pm until recital of the rosary at 8pm. Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Friday at 11.20am to arrive to the Sacred Heart Church, Rath (R32 FN44) for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in the New Cemetery Emo.

Andy passed away suddenly. Sadly missed by his loving wife Marie Goretti, sons Andy, Kieran and Martin, daughter Maria (Fogarty) daughters in-law Sheila, Niamh, Jean , son-in-law Paddy, grandchildren Lauren, Jack, Molly, Patrick, Andy and Joe, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, niece's, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Interment to follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery.

We are sad to announce the passing of
David Brown
Forest View, Tonafarna, Vicarstown, Laois
14th January 2026

David passed away peacefully at his residence in the company of his loving family in his 84th year.
Beloved husband of Brenda and cherished father of Noel, Ciara, Stephen and Kate. Son-in-law Gary, daughter-in-law Lindsay, grandchildren Eoghain, Orlaith and Paddy, his extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours.

May David Rest in Peace.

Reposing in the Presentation Chapel Stradbally (R32 WRH9) on Friday the 16th from 5pm to conclude with the recital of the rosary at 7pm.

Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Saturday morning at 11:30am to arrive at Church of the Assumption Vicarstown (R32 N803) for 12 noon Requiem mass. Internment to follow in Moyanna cemetery.
