We are sad to announce the passing of of
Teresa Clancy
(née Lawlor)
Main Street, Stradbally, Laois.

Teresa passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh Co. Kildare. Predeceased by her husband Eugene, sister Marie, her parents Molly and Michael. Greatly missed by her heartbroken sons John and Dean and her daughter Rhona, adored Granny to Rosie and Joe, son in law Eoin, daughters-in-law Trish and Sarah. Sadly missed by her brothers Carson, Pj, Pat, Martin, Paul, Harry, her sisters Deirdre, Carmel, Phylis, Dina, Jackie, Catherine, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives, and friends.

May Teresa Rest in Peace

Reposing at St. Michael's Church Timahoe from 5pm to 8pm, concluding with Rosary at 8pm. Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors from her residence at 10:40am on Wednesday to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church Stradbally for 11 o clock Requiem Mass which can be viewed on https://svtparish.ie/we**ams Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.

House private at all times.

We are sad to announce the passing of
Fr. Jim Fingleton
Ratheniska, Stradbally, Co. Laois and former parish priest of Christ the King Church, Cabra Dublin.
December 8th 2025

Fr. Jim passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of staff at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Sybil Hill. Beloved brother of Tom, Har, Joe, Brendan, Larry, Mary, Nell and Veronica. Predeceased by his parents Har and Margaret, sisters Kay and Margaret. Very sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, extended family, friends, Archbishop Dermot Farrell and the priests of the Archdiocese of Dublin.

"May his gentle soul rest in peace."

Reposing at the Sacred Heart Residence, Sybil Hill, Raheny (D05 XK58) on Wednesday afternoon 10th December from 3pm to 5pm.

Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in Sybil Hill Nursing Home Chapel. Removal will take place after Mass to The Church of the Holy Cross, Ratheniska, Stradbally by Whelehan Funeral Directors. Reposing on Thursday afternoon 11th December from 4pm with recital of the Rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass on Friday morning at 11am followed by interment in adjoining Cemetery.

We are sad to announce the passing of Ernest Patrick Beaton
Ardskeabeg Ballyglunin Tuam Galway H54R896 and late of Ashington Cresent Dublin 7.

Pat peacefully passed away at University Hospital Galway on the 28th November 2025 in his 86th year surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Una nee Deegan and adoring dad of Caroline, he will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife,daughter and son in-law Rachid Bounaaja his adorable grandchildren Nohaila, Layla and Adam, brothers in-law Hugh Deegan Stradbally Co. Laois , John Deegan and his wife Mary Tullamore Co. Offaly, predeceased by his brother Ken, cousins, relatives neighbours and close friends.

Reposing at St. Colman's room adjoining St. Colman's church Corofin H54X768 on Monday 1st December from 4pm to 5.30pm. Bernard (Barney) Gannon
Park Lower, Stradbally, Laois
November 27th 2025
Barney passed away peacefully in his 82nd year in the company of his loving family. Predeceased by his mother and father Bridget and Michael. Sadly missed by his heart broken wife Pauline, brothers Tom, Hughie, John and Pat, sisters Kathleen, Bridie and Betty, Godchildren Brendan, Sorcha, Jess and Hazel, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, relatives neighbours and friends.

May Barney Rest in Peace.

Barney will repose at his residence on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th from 4pm until recital of the Rosary at 8pm on both evenings.
