I had recently gone to Barry for anxiety and I felt he has helped me so much! He is a very helpful compassionate person and brilliant at his job. I am a completely different person now to when I first started going to him. I would highly recommend him.

Attending Barry has really helped me learn how to cope with my anxiety. He has given me tools that will help me when I feel the onset of frightening health related thoughts and stop them from developing into high levels of anxiety. I only needed a couple of sessions to get on the right path. I would really recommend Barry Searle Therapies.

We were recommended Barry by a friend who’s own child had previously worked with Barry... and thank god for small mercy’s... Barry taught my daughter the tools and skills to learn to recognise and ease her rising anxiety .. we ourselves also picked up many hints and tips... since attending Barry the change in my daughter is night and day .. she is a happier, less anxious teenager and now has the coping skills to deal with whatever life throws at her... without Barry her life may have gone down a completely different path and we will always be grateful to Barry for his help and would highly recommend him ..

My daughter attended Barry to help with her diagnosis of trichotillomania, hair pulling disorder. We have attended a number of different therapists over the years but Barry was without doubt the most focused in his treatment. My daughter responded so well to his hands on, time based approach. He has given my daughter the skills she requires to overcome a negative behaviour and the difference is remarkable. She is happy and she is confident in her own ability. We would highly recommend Barry to any family who has a young person experiencing any mental health challenges.

The first time I met Barry, he put me at ease straight away. He was funny, encouraging and understanding. I especially love his funny stories. He made me realize that I wasn't alone in the way I thought about things. He has given me the skills and the confidence to overcome any obstacles I may have in the future. Barry put my son and I at ease from the very first appointment and made complex ideas very accessible with child friendly explanations and examples.
