We all feel stressed sometimes. Maybe before a big deadline, when juggling responsibilities, or during change.

But when that tension sticks around, even when there’s no clear trigger, it might be anxiety instead.

Here’s a simple way to tell them apart 👇

STRESS 💼
• Usually linked to a specific event or demand
• Fades once the situation resolves
• Can sometimes motivate action (“I need to get this done”)

ANXIETY 🌫️
• Often vague or hard to pinpoint
• Persists even when things are going okay
• Feels like constant worry, unease, or “something bad might happen”

The truth is, both are normal human experiences. But when worry starts running the show or you can’t switch off, counselling can help you find balance again.

You don’t have to “just cope.” You can learn ways to calm your body, quiet your thoughts, and feel steady again. 🌿

You don’t need to be “fixed.”

Feeling anxious, lost, angry, or disconnected doesn’t mean you’re broken....... it means you’re human.

We all carry experiences, expectations, and emotions that sometimes become heavy. Healing doesn’t mean everything feels perfect, it means you start to feel like yourself again. 🌿

If you’ve been holding yourself to impossible standards, maybe today’s reminder is this: You were never broken. You just deserve the space to heal. 💬

A lot of people tell me they’ve thought about counselling for ages… but they’re not sure what actually happens in a session.

Here’s what it’s really like: it’s a safe space to talk, at your own pace.

In the first session, I’ll ask a few gentle questions to understand what’s going on and what you’d like to get out of counselling.

There’s no pressure, no judgment, and definitely no magic fix. It’s about working together to help you feel more grounded, clear, and capable.
