Getting ready for Halloween at Toddlebums HQ.

Halloween is certainly a bit different from last year. A fellow Toddlebum mum suggested this brilliant treasure hunt with the toddler and I'm really looking forward to it.

I've roped in the to give the clues to the next location. I've included tricks and treats (jelly snakes are my tricks 😂)

Hi all,

Hope we find you all well in these strange times.

Just checking in to let you all know that we have been working away in the background to see what can be done about getting our Toddlebums group back up and running in the future.

We've been in contact with the Convent and when the time is right, they'll be delighted to have us back.

We've also been in touch with Laura from Cork City Childcare to see what the expectations are if the group was to run. Also, to understand what measures would need to be in place ahead of starting back up.

We most likely won't open for another while, so in the meantime, we are looking into having some virtual meets. Just a check in to see how you all are and see how big the kids have gotten.

Today is World Maternal Mental Health Day.

Maternal Mental Health matters and increasing awareness will drive social change with a goal towards improving the quality of care for women experiencing all types of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and reducing the stigma of maternal mental illness.

What can we do?

Listen to and ask how pregnant women and new mam's are really feeling.

Create opportunities for them to speak out about their mental health, make sure they know they are not alone and seeking help is not a weakness.
