Well……
It sure has been a while!❤️
Since I was practicing & creating last, I have welcomed my two beautiful daughters into the world.
Ella-Maura and Sofia-Elizabeth 💜💜
A friend of mine recently reminded me that I ought to “get back” at what I love and do best, my cosmetics.
There have been many reasons why I “gave up” but the main one, for me, apart from a severe lack of time, was the simple fact, Ireland, (Cork) is such a small pond, and I forgot that my skills and talents were more than capable of casting my net wider……
On that note, and after much thinking and swaying with the idea for a long time, I have decided to re-brand and re-start………

May I take this time to wish you and yours a happy Christmas, and all the very best for 2024!!!

Well, Hello everyone!!!
I’ve been exceptionally busy (as some of you may know) I gave birth to my little girl Ella Maura last month, what a Christmas!!! She is, the Apple of my eye!!! 🍏

I’m currently looking at some ideas for my clinic and an online course with some new skincare and beauty ideas! 📚

I am of course, flat out at home with my little one at the moment and I will be for a while yet, but I am hoping to get back to see and treat you all in the summertime! 🌞

I am slowly making my way through some messages and emails, and I will get to you all in due course.

In the meantime, I am sending you all my very best wishes, and I’m looking forward to seeing you all soon!

My licence arrived today!!!

Almost 3 years later…… I made it! 🥇

“did you know”…. 💭

In 1653, herbalist Nicholas Culpeper recommended Astrantias (also known as Masterwort) for treating ‘cold griefs and diseases both of the stomach and body’ This was classed as a “Medicinal Plant”

Today, 116 different Astrantias are available here boasting sprays of white, pink, purple or red flowerheads that are carried 1 foot to 3 foot above the ground!

Can science really be used to understand the relationship between scent and spirituality?⁠

Neurotheology can provide us with the framework and science to understand the relationship between scent and spirituality. ⁠

Neurotheology is a relatively new science that integrates anthropology, cognitive neuroscience, neurology, psychology, and sociology on one hand and beliefs, myths, religion, rituals, spiritual practices, spirituality and theology on the other.⁠

In Chapter 4 of my new book The Complete Guide to Aromatherapy – Volume III : Psyche & Subtle, I explore the origins of neurotheology and why it is the most appropriate framework to examine why scent has been critical in spiritual practices 📚⁠
