Do you ever get sentimental about the 1960s and 1980s? Then join Deirdre for her Good Vibes show this Wednesday from 8:00/10:00pm on CUH fm, where she’ll be doing a Guess the year feature from a year in the 60s and also a year in the 80s. She’ll be mentioning lots of historical and quirky facts and trivia from the years in question.
Also playing more great Irish music, since she didn't get to play all of her Irish music collection last week for St. Patrick's Day. Lots of Irish bands and solo singers in her second hour.
Good Vibes with Deirdre Swain.

It’s another story from Cork on thìs week's edition of “Stories from Cork and Beyond”with John Greene on
CUH fm Hospital Radio.
(No great surprise there)
On Cork's Northside we meet family and frien̈ds of the late John O'Shea, affectionately known as 'The Singing Fireman' But, there were more strings to his bow than singing and fighting fires. John was a great community man, a chef, a baker, a gardener, a collector of songs and first and foremost a family man.
The programme was recorded when his close friend Sean O'Se was still with us.
His son Tony, also known as The Singing Fireman joins us, as does Jimmy Crowley and John White.
“Stories from Cork and Beyond” goes to air on Hospital Radio CUH fm this Sunday evening with John Greene between 4:00/6:00pm

On this week's 'Stories from Cork and beyond' John Greene continues and concludes the story of Gina and the Champions with emphasis on Gina's story.
This week the battle with Post Natal Depression continues for the bands lead singer, as she wishes every night on stage to end quickly.
And.... love conquers all as Gina and lead guitarist Pat Walsh break one of the bands main rules.
