So, for my next bit of madness....
I'm doing a spinathon in Dennehy's Blackpool on the 19th & 20th of this month in aid of CUH.
The aim is to cycle for 40hours - the length of time google maps says it'll take to cycle from Blackpool to London.
If you can join me for either the spinning class or for a bit of time to help me hit the time goal, let me know.

Since it's been so long since I've posted here's a reminder of what I actually do in the clinic everyday.

Deep Tissue/Sports Massage are my bread and butter - throw in a few needles (if you want them) or cupping and you're feeling like a new person walking out the door.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage is amazing pre and post surgery, for someone suffering with mild swelling and bloating, for someone who can't seem to get rid of that cold that seems to be lingering forever, for someone who just wants a gentle, relaxing session.

It has been so so long since I've put up a work related post on here. I'm planning on being better.

For my first one back I want to send out a big appreciation message to my clients.

I swear I am honestly the luckiest woman with the people I have coming in to me. Ye all bring joy to my day....from the deep and meaningful chats and the rants to the howling laughter and the banter, all of it.

Also, there's the fact that ye recommend me to ye're friends and family. I can't tell ye how much that means to a small business.

So in case there's any doubt, I appreciate every single one of ye.

What a couple of days!! Marathon no 3 done ✅️ and what a place to do it!! Lake Garda is jaw droppingly beautiful.
Massive thank you to my support team (Mam & Dad) for being here and especially for the big hugs when I was sweaty & disgusting & very emotional at the finish line xx

Job done!!! 42km in mad wind but back just before the mad rain hit!

Very proud of myself for this one, I did it in 4hr 36mins - 9 mins faster than my goal time and a whole 19 mins faster than my marathon last year!!!

Just shows that hard work, consistency and pure stubbornness pay off!!!

Time to chill now!!

There's a gang of us from Dennehy's in Blackpool doing Hell and Back up in Bray later this month.

It's going to be some craic, and while we're at it, we're raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. It's a charity so so close to my heart.

Do something you enjoy, just because it's most likely miserable you don't have to feel miserable.

So, tell me.... how is 2024 going for you so far?

Have you stuck to the goals and resolutions you set for yourself at the start of the month?

If you have - fair play to you, keep up the good work.

If you haven't - don't be too hard on yourself, you're not alone, not by a long shot.

Maybe it's just time to re-evaluate rather than throw in the towel altogether.

Ask yourself some questions:
*Did you really give it a good effort?
*Did YOU actually want to do it?
*Were the goals realistic for you and your lifestyle?
*Can you break the main goal into bitesize pieces?
*What do you need to change in order to get to where you want to?
*Did you set yourself a deadline? We all work better when there's an end date.

Just don't panic. You can always start again. Starting something on the 1st January doesn't have to be a hard and fast rule - you can start whenever you like!

Just go for it!
