As a personal trainer - I'm always about technique and form. (As all trainers should be!)
& challenging my clients to do better than they did the week before.

So when I'm getting messages like these - I know I'm doing my job right and it makes it so much more rewarding when clients are enjoying these challenging sessions.

"I really enjoy the sessions, especially the push ups (!!!!) and Nathalie explains all the exercises really well so I'm confident to go away and do them myself and I know what target muscles I should be working with each exercise and how to do the exercises properly where I won't injury myself and also that I'm getting the benefit for doing the exercises in the correct way.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a walk in the park, it is tough and it's not just the exercising, it's also about what I'm eating but it's just a rewiring of the brain and a change of lifestyle.....

Nathalie is a hard task master and doesn't let you slack off but you see the rewards when you look in the mirror and have more energy.....and she is a great motivator, you want to do well."

Just a little post for Boom Fitness!
I want to thank everyone up in Watergrasshill for making my time up in Boom Fitness a great experience! Especially Pa who welcomed me to Boom Fitness with open arms and all my clients who helped make it a great experience.
Watergrasshill is a great village with so many nice people!!
It was a great learning curve in my Personal Training career.

Looking forward to seeing ye all up in "Mindset Fitness" very soon! πŸ˜€πŸ‘

I am absolutely bursting with excitement and currently jumping around the place, while madge is putting this together for me to tell you all, that myself and are coming together to work in partnership in our very own new gym called "Mindset Fitness" πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ‹πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ It has taking a bit of time to come up with a name that means something to me, the explatation for choosing this name is another days story, this is personal training at a different level for all ages male or female, this is going to be a private set up just for the personal trainer and the client. Progress!!!

This client of mine came to me a few months back looking to do a few PT's & kick start her lifestyle change journey!

The progress she has made in just a short few months is amazing & she hasn't looked back since!
She is an absolute pleasure to train.

Here is what this client of mine has had to say about her journey so far.

"I have completely enjoyed my PT sessions with Nathalie, not alone am I getting fitter but I feel stronger in my body. Nathalie gets you to take pictures to see your progress rather than looking at the numbers on the scale and it really works. Also, she teaches you how to do the exercises properly so before each exercise gets you to recap on what the important points are that you must remember which is great because you have the skills then when you do the exercises yourself. With Nathalie she also encourages you to do your own training session plans up for your own sessions so you are in charge of your own exercise routines which is great. By having a plan it means I am using my time for efficiently in my own gym sessions and I know I'm getting a good workout in but in an efficient time because I have been taught by Nathalie what to do and how to plan my sessions to work different parts of my body. Since I have started PT sessions with Nathalie I have had a lifestyle change, being more aware of what I am eating and how I exercise.

I will be continuing my PT sessions with Nathalie in January. Training now is now part of my lifestyle and I am feeling better both in mind and body."

Client appreciation post!

Let me tell you a bit about this young man. Eoghan came to me to train with me when his mother got onto me asking for my help. She was concerned as his core was very weak & Eoghan was also having problems with writing for very long periods in school as his hands would get tired quickly.
She didn’t want Eoghan struggling with his writing as he has his junior cert this year which involves a lot of writing!
Eoghan has come a long way since May when he started training with me! From not being able to do a basic squat and a push up to doing some weights – it has been a slow and steady journey. Eoghan didn’t have a very active lifestyle & now goes for his walks everyday along with his two gym sessions a week which has been a big massive change. Eoghan is currently squatting a 24kg kettlebell, can do a 15kg overhead press and improved on so many other things. He would never give up and I’m so happy to help him on the road to a healthier lifestyle.

Here is what Eoghan has had to say about his journey so far –
I joined the gym to get stronger and to help get my muscles toned. I also wanted to get fitter. I am really enjoying the personal training and Nathalie helps push me to get the workout done. I’ve learned a lot about nutrition and foods that would be healthier options than having bread for breakfast and lunch.
It has been a positive experience as I really enjoy training with Nathalie and I am very comfortable with her.
