Final figures for the Fundraiser Event for Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association & Marymount University Hospice in Memory of John Mulcahy is now in.
We would like to thank everyone that donated for John’s night and also on Oonagh O' Hagan iDonate page ( which is now closed). The fundraiser donated €25,686.50 to Marymount Hospice & €25,686.50 to Irish Motor Neurone Disease. This is a testament to the power of a community coming together and how much people admired John ,everyone should be extremely proud. We as a family are sincerely grateful for all your support.

John and myself would like to wish all our staff,friends and customers a happy Christmas and a peaceful new year. We would like to say a big Thank you to our customers over the last 22 years , we really appreciated your support. Thanks also to our brilliant staff (our friends). They know we really appreciate them . We wish the new owners Matt and Henry Murphy the best of luck and Continued success. We are delighted that a local (Macroom based) family have taken over the business.

We really appreciate people's patience and together we will get through this pandemic. As we know this year has been Incredibly challenging for us all and we would like to say a massive Thank you to our Brilliant staff .

We ask you to work with us to protect the health & safety of our staff and our customers.
With Covid cases rising we need you to PLEASE help us stop the spread of the Virus.

✅ Patients must not attend the pharmacy if they have Covid symptoms-are a close contact- awaiting test results- going for a test- or are isolating. If you have no one to collect your prescription we can arrange a delivery.

✅ We ask all our Customers to re-order their Prescriptions in advance by ringing ahead to avoid waiting times .

✅ During busy times customers may be asked to call back to avoid too many people waiting in the pharmacy at one time.

✅ We ask everyone to pay by contactless Card transaction where possible .

✅ Customers can request that their prescription to be sent directly to the pharmacy by secure e mail

We are extremely passionate about The Hope Foundation and are delighted our local students have organised this fundraiser. Kolkata and Bengal are in need of our help. While they are also suffering from Covid 19 their biggest concern is starvation. Also they have just been have been hit with a devastating hurricane. This disaster along with the restrictions imposed has led to a desperate situation. People are dying of starvation and from lack of access to healthcare. We are doing this fast for HOPE to try and help them. We are asking you to Please donate and help this amazing charity that was set up by a wonderful Cork woman, Forrest . The hope Foundtion Are going to areas handing out food supplies in Kolkata and Bengal . In Ireland’s time of need during the Irish famine the people of eastern India sent money to Ireland to help the Irish. Now it’s our turn to help them so please donate .

Our Heroes are our hardworking team in both pharmacies in Mallow primary healthcare centre and Main Street Mallow . Over the last few weeks it’s been Absolutely crazy like every other pharmacy in Ireland. Doing 4 weeks work in one week. John and Myself would like to say a massive Thank You to each member of our team .. they are outstanding. They drop off Prescriptions on the way home and at times groceries as well ! They have really proven themselves to be an essential service within the community . We really appreciate all their hard work.🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️

The staff in Mulcahy’s Pharmacy Mallow want to help the vulnerable, isolated and the elderly. We are all local people living in the surrounding areas of mallow and Mallow town. We can help people by dropping off prescriptions and any essentials they might need i.e shopping etc or even if they might be looking for advice. They can ring us . Also the Gardai are providing a drop off service. To avail of the service we either ring the Garda station or the patient can ring the Garda station to request a drop off service or you are more than welcome to ring either pharmacy Main Street 022-21151 or MPHC 022-51682.

‘Self isolation doesn’t mean total isolation’

Also if anyone in the community want to get together and help, please let us know. We would also like to join a group if there’s a group that is proactive with helping others during this time...

This is only for people that have no one else and genuinely need the support. If you know of someone that needs help please let us know. Our doors are open and will remain open please God 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
