A few recent jobs completed by the team 💪🌳
Using our new tracked wood chipper and tracked hoist, we’ve been able to take on more challenging access jobs while keeping everything safe, efficient, and controlled. Whether it’s tight spaces or difficult terrain, having the right equipment makes all the difference in delivering a high standard of work for our clients.

🌳 New Kit Day! 🌳
We took delivery of our new tracked wood chipper today 💪
An important upgrade to help keep the business running smoothly — fewer breakdowns, better efficiency, and safer access on tricky ground.
Great to finally see some blue skies this week too ☀️ after what feels like months of rain. Back to doing what we do best and keeping jobs moving for our customers.

🍂 Busy Season for Pullin Trees 🍂
It’s been a hectic but rewarding transition from summer to autumn — the past few weeks have been especially full-on! Here’s a look at some of the work we’ve been up to lately.

One standout job was the removal of an approximately 200-year-old beech tree affected by Meripilus fungus. Unfortunately, this fungus eats away at the roots, making the tree unstable and unsafe. It was a challenging removal, but our team successfully completed the job with the right machinery, planning, and skills. 🌳💪

Now it’s time for a well-earned bank holiday weekend to relax and recharge.

🌳☀️ Bank holiday mode: loading...
The team here at Pullin Trees is ready for a well-earned break after a few hectic (but awesome) weeks!

Some of our recent jobs called for serious kit — including a crane lift to get a wood chipper over a building! 🏗️💪
Once in place, we carefully sectioned down trees and craned the pieces straight into the chipper. Smooth, safe, and efficient — just how we like it. 👌🌲

We've also been treated to some incredible views from the treetops lately — all under perfect blue skies. ☀️😎
It’s jobs like these that make us grateful for what we do.

Brave little visitor on the job site the other day!
This curious robin wasn't fazed at all by the roar of chainsaws and wood chippers. Definitely a nice little highlight to wrap up the week.

What. A. Week.

We’ve just wrapped up our toughest week of the year — and the team has more than earned this long Easter weekend!

This beast of a sycamore was over 70% overhanging a fresh renovation, so every bit of kit we own came out to play. Precision was key, and we’re proud to say: not a single slate disturbed.

The best part? All the large timber lengths are being milled and reused in the renovation — keeping things sustainable and giving the tree a second life.

Massive effort. Clean result. Happy clients.

🌳 Another Great Week at Pullin Trees! 🌳

This week, our team tackled some challenging jobs with the help of our Spider Lift! 🕷️💪

✅ We safely removed diseased Ash trees that were too dangerous to climb.
✅ We completed a job on a mature Eucalyptus tree, reducing it back to a healthy, balanced shape by removing dying branches and deadwood.

Without the lift, these jobs would have been extremely difficult—but thanks to the right equipment and a skilled team, we got the job done safely and efficiently!

Exciting News at Pullin Trees!

We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of our new Leguan 225 spider hoist! This machine is a game-changer for our team, offering impressive vertical and lateral reach, compact maneuverability, and track-based stability for tackling all types of terrain.

With the increasing number of diseased Ash trees and storm-damaged hazards, safety is more important than ever. The Leguan 225 allows us to work more efficiently and safely, reducing risks for our climbers while still delivering top-quality service.

We can’t wait to put this incredible machine to work!

🌿 Protecting Nature While Getting the Job Done! 🏗️🐝

Last week brought something a little different for us! We were tasked with a scrub removal job for the ESB, but with a special twist—an ecologist was on-site to help us locate and protect a Bee Orchid, a rare and protected plant.

Normally, this type of work is done with machinery, but to ensure these incredible flowers remained unharmed, we carefully removed the scrub by hand. A great reminder that progress and conservation can go hand in hand!
