The Moonsyst Smart Rumen Bolus system is capable of identifying heat activity based on cow behaviour. The solution also measures rumen temperature, capturing the slightest changes at individual and herd level. With this information, the optimum time for insemination is predicted. To be sure that no heats are missed, Mooncloud automatically alerts the farmer with a push notification to their phone and logs a task. If no heat is detected, Mooncloud will suggest that a pregnancy check is completed on the cow. This smart solution will ensure no cows are missed for heat detection. Animal health and welfare is proactively monitored by the Moonsyst Smart Rumen Bolus system. The Breeding Season doesn’t stop once you have inseminated your herd, it’s of huge importance to monitor them throughout post-insemination and pregnancy to ensure that cow is healthy and still in calf 📊

By having Moonsyst, your cattle are monitored 24/7 365 days a year for Health & Reproduction.

All stages of the breeding cycle are monitored:
🔹 Pre-breeding: Reports are available that allows you to identify heifers/cows that are cycling well, irregularly cycling or not cycling. With this information, problematic cows can be treated before the breeding season starts and cows that are cycling well, prioritised for first round sexed semen.

🔹Breeding season: With an oestrus cycle comes ‘Heat’! The Moonsyst Rumen bolus monitors the cow for activity and increases in Rumen Temperature, using the latest Artificial Intelligence tools (AI4AI), resulting in extremely accurate detection.
