Sciatica is when the sciatic nerve, which runs from your lower back down through your legs, gets irritated. This nerve actually consists of five different nerves that come together, starting in your lower back and extending into your legs.

If you're dealing with sciatica, you might experience one or more of the following:

- Low back pain that travels to your buttocks or down your leg
- Sharp, stabbing pain that moves from your thigh to your calf, or even your foot

“I really couldn't rate Cork Chiropractic Clinic highly enough! I'm 26 and suffered an acute herniated disc 5 months ago. I could barely walk, my body was very slanted to one side and I would have been considered a surgery case. I booked an appointment with Virginia, after she came highly recommended, and it was the best decision I ever made!

We had multiple weekly appointments over the 5 month period and from my very first one, I started to feel an improvement. Virginia provided fantastic, professional care, support and advice and with each session there was progress in my recovery.
