My Canine Companion - Autism and Therapy Services My Canine Companion is an Irish national charity RCN 20079147 who provide accredited service dogs Many of our clients have dual or multiple diagnoses.

My Canine Companion is committed to enriching the lives of people with difficulties particularly autism,through the placement of highly skilled Service Dogs and companion dogs providing safety, independence, and companionship to our clients

As each child is different our organisation provides an outstanding customised service to meet the specific needs of each family. We work with children and young adults with not only autism but varied other conditions. We assess a families specific needs and we try to adapt our services to satisfy those needs. We have placed service dogs that work with two siblings on the spectrum, we have also placed two service dogs in families with two or more children on the spectrum. My Canine Companion does not have a cut off age for applying for our service we have successfully worked with a number of teenagers and young adults

2026 has started off with an enormous milestone for MCC!

400 qualified autism service dogs🐾
400 family's lives changed🐾
400 children and young adults who can now experience everyday things that they previously couldn't 🐾.

In 2026 MCC celebrates our 15th anniversary and we are so proud to hit this milestone to kick off the year!

These guys have done an amazing job and have now returned home to their families to begin their new roles!
