It's been a busy start to 2023 with several Nurse Call projects underway including the installation of Touchsafe Pro by Aid Call - A Brand of Legrand at the new 90 bed nursing home in Carnew, Co.Wicklow.

Touchsafe Pro will complement the contemporary design of this nursing home while at the same time providing reliable communication between residents and staff throughout the building.

The Nurse Call System has been designed to create minimal noise, thereby enhancing the care environment, especially at night time. Reduced alarm sounds will be of particular benefit to residents with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.

We look forward to handing over the new system to Patricia and her care team over the coming weeks and wish everyone the best as they prepare to open the doors of this exceptional facility.

1000 trees and counting! In 2020 we partnered with Crann - Trees for Ireland to sponsor the planting of native Irish trees. For every Nurse Call installation that we complete, a tree is planted to represent each resident or patient in that nursing home or hospital.

We have had a tree-mendous (sorry!) response from clients who are thrilled to be part of this initiative and are only too happy to display the 'Certificates of Tree Planting' in their name.

Much of Crann's good work is carried out through their schools programmes and the Easy Treesie project which aims to help a million schoolchildren to plant a million native Irish trees by 2024.

Crann has been established since 1986 and are Ireland's leading voluntary tree organisation dedicated to planting, promoting and increasing awareness about our native trees and woodlands.

We are so proud of this milestone and look forward helping Crann make Ireland greener for many years to come.

Thank you to Joan at St.Luke's Nursing Home for these kind words. It's always great to get positive feedback but it's even more special when the customer has been with you for almost 30 years!

We installed our very first Nurse Call System at St.Luke's in 1994. It was an innovative wireless system developed by Aid Call in the UK and it certainly stood the test of time.

We fully expect the new Touchsafe Pro System by Aid Call - A Brand of Legrand to out-perform it's predecessor and look forward to continuing our relationship with St.Luke's for many years to come.

To mark we'd like to share an initiative that we introduced last year as part of our . For every Nurse Call System that we install, we sponsor the planting of a native Irish tree to represent each of the residents in that nursing home or patients in that hospital. We've had such a great response from customers when they received their 'Certificates of Tree Planting", some have even been quite touched by the gesture.

We're delighted to be partnering with Crann Trees for Ireland who are working hard to improve our environment and teach our children about the benefit of trees. Through their projects led by the tireless Orla Farrell, Crann are aiming to plant 1 million trees by 2023 as part of the challenge so do give them your support.
