Our annual Christmas family fun day kicked off last Thursday with Santa paying a visit to all the boys and girls of District Health and Leisure.

I don't think Santa was prepared for the fun and excitement that was to follow. All our team were at hand to help prepare with decorations, sweet treats and confectionery heaven!!! Ana was on face painting duties, Oliver on hot chocolate and Sandra as Ms. Christmas herself!!!! All that was left for the big man to do was sit and look pretty for pics and dish out some selection boxes!!!

Sugar was consumed, snowball fights ensued and Sandra read some beautiful Christmas stories to all the little ones who were very good for listening.

A special thank you to Santa for paying us a visit, we know he’s very busy this time of year.

Merry Christmas to all our staff, colleagues, patrons, suppliers, neighbours, and friends, but most importantly, our amazing members.

Without our members, we would just be like any other gym. We consider each and everyone of you our family and thrive on the interaction and craic you guys bring to the centre everyday.

So here’s to a happy, healthy Christmas and New Year

Saturday night the District Team glammed up and headed for a night on the tiles. Food, drinks and festive fun was had. Our team work exceptionally hard and I'm sure you'll agree its nice to see them let the hair down and enjoy some christmas spirit. Everyone had an amazing night 😇🍸🎄✨️🎁

November Member of the Month was Patricia O Leary

Patricia is an off peak member with us here and attends most of our classes on a regular basis.

She has tried everything from Spinning to Aqua to Flex n Tone and Raise the Bar. Patricia is always so bright and bubbly and is well and truly a valued member of our community. Just look at her beautiful smile.

Santa will visit all the good boys and girls of District (big and small!) again this year on Thursday December 18th

December means we can hang our decorations, start eating our way through our advent calendars and our littlest members can grab their Christmas Colouring Competition entry.

This year we have a wonderful prize of a family pass to ONICE at Marina Market for the winner and some festive runner up prizes also.
