We are delighted to announce we are celebrating a milestone achievement as Hayfield Manor have become the proud winners of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Quality Assurance Award in London at the annual Hospitality Leadership Awards. Hosted by the world’s largest independent hotel brand, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, this prestigious award is judged on guest satisfaction scores as well as a Preferred Quality Audit carried out by Deloitte.

The awards are designed to celebrate true excellence in leadership, consistent delivery of best-in-class hospitality experiences and stewardship of globally renowned and multi-award-winning luxury, independent hotels.

•MEET THE TEAM• Today we have the pleasure of introducing you to Karen Burns, Spa Therapist at The Beautique Spa Hayfield Manor Hotel and giving you a little glance into Karen’s life.⁠

Karen is from Cork and joined the team at The Beautique Spa just over a year ago now. She graduated as a Beauty Therapist with ITEC and Cidecso qualifications and began working with us after gaining valuable experience for a number of years in the spa industry. She loves welcoming people into the spa where they can switch off and enjoy time for themselves. A natural nurturer, her favourite part is seeing her clients completely relax from the moment she lays her hands on them and the treatment commences. “I felt like I was really being taken care of and treated with love from the therapist” These are the exact words one guest used to describe her time with Karen and there is no better way to describe her. A deeply caring and kind soul Karen will ensure your time with her is filled with care and compassion. One of her favourite treatments at The Beautique Spa is The Restorative Ritual by Ground Wellbeing which focuses on helping to relive tension and stress in the face, neck and scalp. This is a treatment that Karen has seen provide immediate relief and relaxation to her guests. She believes it is so important to take care of your body and mind by taking time out for yourself and spending time with loved ones.

Many of you you will already know this familiar face; Yvonne is the longest standing member of The Beautique Spa Team; over a decade and counting! A great achievement in itself. There have been many changes in the spa industry over the last few years but Yvonne remains committed, dedicated and passionate about her role as a senior spa therapist on our team.

Yvonne completed her beauty therapy training in 2004, and worked in salons for many years. She then joined The Beautique Spa team in 2010 where she continues to train and constantly upskill herself. Yvonne loves being a therapist mostly because of how she makes people feel, she understands how valuable the time spent in her treatment room is for her clients. No matter what stress they may have in their life they can leave it at the door and just totally relax. One of her biggest strengths as a therapist is in treating everyone as an individual and talking to them about what they need and what they are hoping to achieve from their treatment time with her.

One of her favourite treatments is The Restorative Ritual by as it is completely different to any other treatment and it is such a relaxing one that everyone can benefit from. Her top self-care and wellbeing tip is to listen to your body, it is the greatest possession you will ever own. Yvonne emphasizes the importance of taking time to ask yourself how you are feeling regularly and to ensure you give yourself time, even if it is just one hour weekly. Above all else set time aside just for you.

Yvonne is such a pleasure to be around and we are so lucky to have such an incredible therapist to look after our guests. Thank you for your passion and dedication to your work Yvonne ❤️

This week we launched our new treatment Cúram & Folláine meaning Care & Wellness. This is a bespoke ritual designed to release tension & encourage a natural state of well-being.

An exclusive treatment at Hayfield Manor with GROUND Wellbeing and designed by our expert team of therapists at the Beautique Spa, this distinct massage treatment will release your body from its tired, tense state, while encouraging a refreshed & replenished state of being. Beginning with a soothing foot soak and gentle breathwork, allowing both you and your therapist to recentre and begin your journey together. Utilizing the powerful aromatherapy blends of Ground Wellbeing, this hands on massage treatment will be customized to alleviate the stress, worry or tension held in your upper body with particular focus on the back, neck, shoulders, hands and arms. The treatment comes to completion with a face and scalp massage with special attention paid to the eyes, TMJ, forehead and temples using massage and gua sha techniques. Thoughtful and careful consideration for our guests has been poured with love into this treatment to ensure you are walking out the door feeling lighter than when you walked into the spa at Hayfield Manor.

We are so lucky to have such a special partnership with and which has allowed our incredible spa team led by Spa Manager Tanya Mansfield and Assistant Spa Manager, Treatment Designer and three time Tatler Award Winning Therapist Rachel O'Malley to create such a bespoke offering for our guests.
