Lower back pain … the weight that isn’t yours
When the lower back hurts, it’s as if the body is whispering: I can’t take this burden anymore!
lower back pain is often related to material fears, a sense of abandonment, or a lack of support, especially in the economic, emotional, or closest personal relationships.
Many times we carry what isn’t ours. We take responsibility for others, we silence what weighs us down, and we keep going, until the body shouts what the soul stays silent about.
From traditional medicine, there are simple yet profound ways to accompany this burden:
– Hot baths with arnica, rosemary, and rue, to inflame (release) the soul and release memories.
– Clay poultices with sea salt on the lower back, to draw out the anger that got stuck in the body.
– Massages with copal oil and lavender, to remember that you deserve rest, love, and support too.
As you do this, breathe slowly and ask yourself:
What am I carrying that isn’t mine? Where did I stop trusting? Who am I trying to support without releasing myself?
