Nollaig na mBan (pronunciation Null-ug na Mon), which can be translated from Irish (Gaelic) as “Women’s Christmas,” 6th January is one of Ireland’s biggest traditions. On this day, women traditionally get a much needed rest after catering to everyone during the holiday festivities.

Another significant meaning is the Epiphany which means “Appearance ; Manifestation; Revelation ”

The word epiphany was used in Greek religion to indicate the appearance or manifestation of a god or goddess in human form along with the suggestion that the person or persons who had the epiphany would be delivered from danger and/or their enemies defeated.

In Christianity, Epiphany means four manifestations. His birth, the adoration of the Magi (three wise kings), Jesus’ baptism, and the first miracle at Cana where Jesus turned water into wine.

Epiphany means to be mindful of your thoughts, words, and the choices you are making at this time. Be sure they are aligned with that which you wish to attract. Be sure that you are focusing on what you want, rather than what you don’t want.

Watch your language and how you are choosing to speak to yourself and others. Your words are powerful, so be sure you are speaking with loving kindness and to remind yourself that there are always opportunities to begin again, to try new things, and to make different choices.

Allow your thoughts to be an expression of opportunity and hope. Shift your thinking from limitation to abundance.

Happy first Super Full Moon of 2026 my Soul Tribe, on Saturday January 3rd.

This Super Full Moon is known as the Wolf Moon, the Cold Moon, Severe Moon and Hard Moon.

As the first of the year, it represents renewal, reflection, and community. “Just as the wolves locate and gather pack members to reinforce social bonds, you too, should look to your community for connection and fulfillment.

It is also a wonderful time to go within, to reflect, and to reconnect to all the parts of yourself that have been forgotten.

Honor any sensitivities that come up at this time. Allow these sensitivities to be a guide to greater compassion and self-love. Allow your sensitivities to alert you to what your heart may be trying to communicate with you.

Based on the energy under this Super Full Moon, your heart is guiding you to open a little wider and to release some of the boundaries that have been imposed upon it.

Be gentle with yourself as you move through the Moon’s waves of growth, and stay open to where you are led.

Your intuition is likely to be heightened at this time, so trust your instincts and pay extra attention to any intuitive feelings that flutter into your heart, mind, or belly.

Let’s celebrate your light and honor the energy of the New Moon in Sagittarius on the 19th December.

This Moon in Sagittarius invites us to linger here, to resist the urge to rush forward or cling to the past.

Take a moment to honor the version of yourself that began 2025. Acknowledge the triumphs and the challenges, the clarity and the confusion, the moments of pure joy and the times you thought you couldn’t go on.

Can you feel how much you’ve expanded?

Every challenge you’ve faced, every leap of faith you took, every moment you chose growth over comfort has brought you to this powerful point of transformation.

What if everything that’s meant for you is even better than what you can imagine?

What if the Universe has plans that exceed your wildest dreams?

This New Moon invites you to embrace the mystery, to say yes to the adventure, to trust that you’re being guided every step of the way.

As we move closer to the Winter Solstice, the energy around us and within us is shifting.

Even the horses have been showing this change so beautifully… softer eyes, slower movements, a natural turning inward. They remind us that winter is not a time of emptiness, but a time of deep wisdom.

Horses don’t fear the darkness. They settle into it, breathe with it, and trust the quiet cycles of nature.

When we sit with them at this time of year, we’re invited to do the same: to listen, to feel, and to allow our inner world to speak.

When we gather on Monday, we’ll connect with that same grounding, gentle presence the horses offer so naturally. A space where letting go becomes easier, and new intentions can rise softly, without force.

Let this Solstice be a moment where you honour your own light, guided by the calm strength of these magnificent beings. A moment to breathe, reset, and return to yourself.

If you feel the pull, trust it. Nature and the horses are already whispering.

Let’s celebrate your light and honor the energy of the Winter Solstice on Monday 22nd December

The Winter Solstice is one of the most powerful points of the year when the axis of the Earth pauses, shifts and moves in the opposite direction. For three days around the solstice points you will experience the power of the standstill point and the shift of direction. The sun standing still is a powerful metaphor for the energy available to you at the Winter Solstice to change the direction of your life with intention and build on this energy as you enter into the new year. 
 
The energy of winter is that of going within. It’s the fruitful darkness and silence out of which your soul’s yearnings and new beginnings eventually emerging. As you consciously link your awareness to nature’s cycles, your understanding of your own personal growth cycles begin to deepen.
 
When you fear your own darkness, you cut yourself off from an essential source of your own personal power. The key is not in letting darkness overwhelm your life and your thoughts but in understanding that darkness can be one of the greatest catalysts for personal growth and transformation. 
 
Allow your feelings to guide you because your feelings are your truth.

When it comes to manifesting your heart’s desires, consciously creating the life that you want, there will be a letting go process that you will be taken through. This is not always easy or comfortable but it’s an essential part of conscious creation.

Today I’m celebrating a milestone that means so much more than a diploma. This journey has opened my heart, strengthened my spirit, and connected me more deeply to the Chi, to nature, and to my true purpose.

A heartfelt thank you to Pam & Yogi Cho my teachers at Universal Energy Arts & Yoga Child Academy Cork for your unwavering guidance over the past number of years. The teachings of Qigong have transformed me. What once felt like a blockage in expressing my voice has now become a source of strength and freedom. I’m forever grateful for the sacred space you have helped me cultivate within.

The Cold Moon of December 2025
Stillness, Surrender, and the Promise of Renewal

As the year draws to a close, the night sky prepares to offer us one final moment of celestial brilliance.

On Thursday, December 4th, 2025, the Cold Moon the last full moon of the year will rise into the darkness. This moon is especially significant it is the third and final supermoon of 2025, appearing larger and brighter as it sits higher in the winter sky.

While the nights grow longer and the world grows quieter, the Cold Moon brings with it a gentle invitation to pause, reflect, and breathe.

Where previous full moons carry energy of movement and preparation the Cold Moon is a turning inward. It is a moon of stillness, clarity, and renewal, asking us to pause before the year ends and listen to what our inner world has been whispering.

This moon encourages us to take stock of the year gone by. Not as a judgment, but as a moment of truth.
What needs to be released? What can be softened?
What deserves to be carried forward into the new cycle ahead?

The Cold Moon reminds us that the space between endings and beginnings is sacred. It is a threshold, a clearing, a deep breath.

The Cold Moon illuminates what we often avoid: the parts of ourselves that long for rest, acknowledgment, or gentle release.

This full moon becomes a guide for the inner journey:
🩷 Let go of the weight that no longer belongs.
🩷 Surrender to what life is offering rather than resisting what has changed.
🩷 Feel without fear, knowing emotions are pathways to truth.
🩷 Grow with the resilience of the trees, trusting that new beginnings are already forming.

As the Cold Moon rises high in the December sky, consider giving yourself a moment to be still. Step outside, even for a minute. Watch the light touch the earth. Notice how the world softens under the moon’s glow.

Allow the moon to remind you that even in the coldest season, something quietly prepares to grow.

The end of the year is not a finish line, it is a threshold. And the Cold Moon is the lantern that guides us across it.
