It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Carmel Curtin, Kilnap, Cork, who passed away on 19th of September, peacefully after a long illness bravely borne surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Ballynoe Care Choice Nursing Home. Carmel (née Murray) late of Whitegate and Old White Church Road. Cherished wife of Diarmuid. (Jerry). Adored mother of Muireann, Rita, Jim and Liam. Predeceased by sisters Gertie, Rita and brother Phelim.
Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren Joshua, Amélie, Kallie, Matthew, Anna-Mae, Andrew, Meadhbh, Hannah, Lugh, son-in-law Bryon, daughters-in-law Eleanor and Marie, sister Geraldine, brothers Brendan and Martin, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at her home in Kilnap, Eircode T23 TE89, on Sunday, the 21st of September, from 4.00pm to 6.00 pm, with prayers at 6pm.
Requiem Mass on Monday, the 22nd at 11:00am in the Church of the Annunciation, Blackpool, which will be live-streamed by clicking on the following link: https://www.churchservices.tv/blackpool followed by burial in St Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
