🌿✨ Calling on my lovely Facebook friends! ✨🌿

I’m looking for recommendations for a good (and reasonably priced) website developer in Ireland to help me create a new website for my psychotherapy practice.

Ideally, I’d love to find someone with a creative touch, who understands how to make a website feel welcoming, safe, and authentic — not just functional.

If you (or someone you know) has personal experience working with a developer you’d recommend, I’d really appreciate it if you could share their details (and your experience, if you'd like).

Thank you so much in advance for your help — word-of-mouth and trusted referrals mean a lot to me! 💚

**UPDATE**
I really appreciate all the replies from abroad (U.S and U.K in particular), but I would only consider Irish web designers (Ideally Cork based) as I wish to work with someone who has experience in this market, particularly for SEO purposes. Thanks everyone.

🌱 Healing from trauma is possible. 🌱

Trauma can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and the world around us. But healing is not only possible — it is your birthright.

Through gentle, compassionate support, you can learn to feel safe again, reconnect with your body, and reclaim your life.

As a trauma-focused psychotherapist, I hold space for you to move at your own pace, discover your inner strength, and find a new sense of wholeness.

✨ You don’t have to do it alone.

💬 If this resonates with you, leave a comment or reach out — I’d love to hear your story.

As a Somatic therapist listening is at the core of my work. Listening to the words you used, the phrases, how you use your tone and how you emphasize and bring animation to the issues you speak about. It can also mean listening for what is not said and what is distracted from or avoided entirely as you begin to narrate your life with me. This is done in a supportive and inclusive way so that we join in curiosity about how the unconscious shows up through your words and language.

However, in Somatic therapy there is a deeper listening that is always informing and underlying your attention. The narrative of the body. Shining a compassionate light on how the unconscious shapes your body postures or gestures as you speak, how it guards and opens you up in the moment. It tells us about your history and how it relates to the present moment and how you can be in relationship with others using me as a template. It holds your emotions and sensations related to how you experience the world and others. The body can also communicate at times through constriction/tightness and through sensitivity to touch or awareness or being numb and devoid of feeling - sometimes what is not felt has the greater significance and healing for us if you can learn to listen in this new way.
There is so much more to say and learn but I hope you are connecting to my intention - that a willingness to listen to our body is essential to your lomg-term healing.
Part of our work together is to begin to turn towards the body and to begin to find new listening ears to the language it speaks. To become a fly on your own wall as you hear the communication under the words.

I'd love to hear your thoughts or make contact on jasoncowell.counsellor@gmail.com for a free 30min consultation and we can discuss your needs.

So much of what we experience as conflicting with ourselves is often an internal lens being seen through and applied to what is happening around us at that moment - but also an echo from our past that it reminds us of. This lens has its own views about us, the world and others at large. Feeling sad we see sadness everywhere, being happy and settled inside means we flow and surf with ourselves and what is happening around us. Conflict and anger expressed on others can especially be a sign of this. Often anger responds to an underlying fear inside being triggered - a deep reactionary instinct to protect ourselves or a part of ourselves that feels violated or ignored or at risk of being hurt.
I want to offer you a way in our work together to see these reactions as opportunities for us - a way to attune to the non-verbal whispers from your unconscious, to learn to bring kindness towards them and begin to hear the important story that, as yet. has been untold and unwitnessed. Sometimes we re-experience this story not in words but in other ways, through sensations, emotions, images and beliefs (just a few examples) about ourselves and our place in the world. In time, together we can offer what is being asked for and foster the healing that is waiting to be felt.

I am looking forward to meeting you there...
