CLINIC will remain OPEN. Back to work on Jan 5th by appointment only.

As per the Department of Health on May 15th 2020 (see details below) Podiatry is regarded as an essential service and the clinic will therefore remain open during level 5 restrictions.

To address the several enquiries about Podiatry in level 5.

"As you know, the Health Act 1947 (Section 31A - Temporary Restrictions) (COVID-19) Regulations 2020 (SI No. 121 of 2020) were signed by the Minister for Health on 7 April 2020 it is confirmed that Schedule 2 of the Regulations sets out essential services that are exempted from the restrictions and therefore can continue to be provided. This includes (at 15(b)) podiatry services as these services are provided by a member of a designated profession within the meaning of section 3 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (No. 27 of 2005). This suggests that further legislative change is not required in order for podiatry services to continue."

Hi All,
After the latest update of Government guidelines for this phase, Podiatry First clinic is able to reopen. New Measures and protocols are now in place in line with government and HSE guidelines. Appointment times have to be spread apart to allow cleaning and infection control measures between clients.
As always the clinic is run by appointment only, please ring or message for an appointment. Looking forward to seeing you all again! 😊 Susan
