đź’‰ Last Flu Vaccines Now Available!

We’ve just received our final delivery of flu vaccines for the season.

If you haven’t had your flu jab yet but would like one, please pop into the surgery between 8.30 am and 1.00 pm or 2.00 pm to 4.45 pm Monday to Friday.

Please note: it takes around 2 weeks for the vaccine to become fully effective, so we encourage anyone who still needs it to get protected as soon as possible.

Flu is currently circulating in the community, and vaccination remains the best way to reduce your risk.

Flu Vaccines:

We are continuing to administer flu vaccines here in Burren Medical Centre.

You are eligible to get the flu vaccine with or without a medical card free of charge if

* you are 65 or over
* are pregnant
* aged 18-64 yrs old and at increased risk from flu
* are a healthcare worker

If you wish to avail of a flu vaccine, please phone (065 6837604) or email (reception@burrenmedical.com) to arrange an appointment.

We do not have any walk-in clinics for the vaccines. Therefore, you must contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.
