Spirits are high in the Nursing Home this afternoon while we are watching the Rose of Tralee. Our residents have been crowned the Roscommon Rose, Limerick Rose, Galway Rose Dublin Rose, Clare Rose and even the Ballinasloe Rose!

Well we have the happiest of gentleman in the house today following the visit of the Irish Press cup. A massive thank you to Ian McGlynn Captain of the winning All Ireland Galway hurling Minor champions who visited us yesterday. The gentleman in the photo is a passionate hurling fan and played for Craughwell during his time on the field. Ian spent some time with Paddy Joe going into detail of the match, croke park but more importantly what it was like to win. The joy this brought is immense and no money could buy. Thank you Ian and again our congratulations to the Galway Minor team on their win. Roll on 2020 👍💪

I am so proud of my team that work so hard in Clarenbridge to enhance the quality of life of the residents while delivering excellence in patient care and striving for quality and improvement. This is more evident in the HIQA 2018 annual review where we have been named as 1 of only 5 nursing homes in Co Galway who have achieved 100% compliance with the regulatory standards. This is all down to the team and the work they do, day in and day out. Thank you 👏👍🤗
