Gluteal Amnesia can be a real pain in the butt! Literally. It can make any movements that involve the glutes such as running, walking, squatting, lunging more difficult to perform.
It's usually thought to be an inability to contract or 'fire' our large gluteal muscles. I'd argue it's an inability to actually RELAX our butt muscles. But in any event, don't worry I've got you covered.
