Acknowledgement for Margaret Boyle
The family of the late Margaret Boyle would like to express their appreciation to everyone who supported them during Margaret’s passing. Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, to those who sent messages of support and prayers, cards and donations.
A special thank you to our family, friends and neighbours who helped us during the wake and funeral. Your kindness was warmly welcomed.
A special and heartfelt appreciation to the nursing staff in Letterkenny University Hospital and the Donegal Hospice who cared for Margaret with so much love, kindness and compassion during her time of ill health.
A special word of thanks to Fr Pat Ward, Fr James Gillespie and Fr Eammon Kelly for a lovely funeral Mass in St Mary’s Chapel, Kincasslagh. We would like to thank Nigel O'Gallchóir for his support and prayers.
We also wish to thank Sean and Noreen Mc Glynn, Josie Gallagher, and the gravediggers for the support and care on how they carried out the arrangements.
Margaret’s months mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 28th February, 2026 at 6.30pm in St Mary’s Kincasslagh, Co Donegal, F94X362.

The family of the late Aggie Melly would like to express their appreciation to everyone who supported them during Aggies passing.
Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral,and to those who sent messages,cards and flowers.
A special thank you to our relatives,neighbours and friends who helped us in any way,and also brought food to the house for us.
A special and heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff in Aras Gweedore,who showed Aggie so much love,kindness and compassion during her time there.
Thank you to Fr. O Baoill for the lovely Mass,and to Maureen Mc Cahill for her help and dedication on making the service available for those who could not attend. Also to Sara Laughlin for her beautiful singing.
We also wish to thank Shaun and Noreen McGlynn,Josie Gallagher, and the gravediggers for the caring and dedicated way with which they carried out the arrangements and to the staff of Mccaffertys for the lovely refreshments after the funeral.

Funeral notice

The death has taken place of Grace Henry, Upper Leabgarrow, Arranmore Island.

Grace died peacefully (11th February 2026), surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the Dungloe Community Hospital. Sadly missed by her sisters Annie and Maureen, brother Charles, nieces and nephews.

Her remains will be removed to her home in Leabgarrow, Arranmore Island, departing Burtonport at 2.30pm today Wednesday.
Rosary at 8pm on Wednesday and Thursday. The house is private between 10pm to 8am.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in St Crone's Church, Arranmore.

The peaceful death has taken place of Phil Ward, Manchester, native of Arranmore Island. predeceased by siblings Nan, John, Nellie, Mona, Pa**ie and James. Sadly missed by his brothers Michael, Frank, Joe, sisters in law and a wide family circle of nephews, nieces, especially Monica who cared for him so well in Manchester, and friends.

His remains will arrive from Manchester on Saturday evening and will repose briefly at McGlynns Funeral Home, Dungloe, Co. Donegal with visitation from 5 until 7pm before travelling onwards to Arranmore.

Wake at the family home Leabgarrow from 2pm Sunday with Rosary at 8pm both nights. Removal on Monday morning, 9th of February for 11.00am Mass in St. Crone's Church, Arranmore followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The peaceful death has occurred of Rosaleen Griffiths (nee Breslin) on 17th January at her home in Birmingham.
Formerly of Lower Crickamore her wish was to return home for burial. Having reached 101 yrs of age, she was Pre deceased by her husband Dick and nine Breslin brothers and sisters. She will be very sadly missed by her two daughters Verona and Ingrid, grandsons, Noah and Oisin and many nieces and nephews. Her remains will arrive at St Columba’s Church Burtonport for 6pm tomorrow Tuesday 3rd Feb to repose overnight. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by interment in Belcruit Cemetery.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Tom, her son Shaun, sister in law Breid, nieces and nephews and all the extended Houston and Melly families.
Aggie’s remains will repose in her home in Boyoughter F94K497 from 2pm tomorrow Tuesday 27th January with rosary at 8pm, removal from there on Wednesday evening to arrive in St Bridget’s Church, Lettermacaward for 6pm to repose overnight, Funeral on Thursday at 12noon followed by interment in Cille Bhride, Boyoughter. We, the heart-broken family of the late Joe Boyle (Ann Eoin), wish to express our sincere appreciation of everyone who offered us support in our recent bereavement.

We would like to acknowledge the care, compassion, dignity and respect shown to Joe throughout his illness by the doctors and staff in Dungloe Community Hospital and Aras Gweedore. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the staff in Dungloe Community hospital for the amazing kindness and compassion they showed to the family and the support they provided during Joe’s final days. We cannot express how much this meant to us. Thank you.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to our wonderful friends, neighbours and family for the gracious kindness you bestowed upon our family throughout the wake and funeral. To those who sent messages of support, cards, phone calls & beautiful flowers, it was a wonderful comfort to us. To all who brought food and helped during the wake- we thank you.

To Father Pat Ward who comforted Joe in final days of his illness. For your kind words reflecting Joe’s life, the personal touches during the funeral Mass and for the compassion and guidance, you provided to the family throughout the wake and funeral. We cannot thank you enough.

To all who joined us for Joe’s funeral Mass whether in person or online. Particularly anyone who travelled to attend the wake or funeral. All who helped with the funeral Mass or at the graveside. Thank you to Connie Mhary Mhíchi, Martina Lawlor and the Kincasslagh Parish Choir for the beautiful singing during the mass, and to Martina and Anne for the graveside music. We are so grateful.

To Joe’s lifelong friends and all the staff at Caisleain Oir for the lovely funeral meal- Go raibh maith agat.

Thanks to Shaun and Nora Mc Glynn, Josie Gallagher and the grave diggers - please accept our deepest gratitude for the professional, compassionate and dignified service you provided throughout the wake and funeral and for the respect and sensitivity shown to us, the Boyle family.

The peaceful death has taken place of Margaret Boyle (nee B***r) at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny surrounded by her family.

Margaret is survived by her husband Bernie, daughter Rose Ann (David), sons Joe (Mairead) and John Paul (Carol) and her grand children Bradley, Darcie, Cillian and Oisín. Her brothers George, Joe and sister Madge. Predeceased by her brother Jim and sister Anna.

Margaret’s remains will repose at Mc Glynn’s Funeral Home, Dungloe (F94ND68) on Monday 26th January, from 3.00pm with rosary at 8.00pm. Removal to her home at Mullaghduff 9, Kincasslagh, Co Donegal, F94E8D8 after the rosary.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday 27th from 11.00am to 9.00pm.

Funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church, Kincasslagh, Co. Donegal, F94X362 on Wednesday 28th at 11.00am followed by interment in the Belcruit cemetery.

The peaceful death has taken place of Mary Mannion at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mary predeceased by her husband Michael Mannion, her daughter Joanne O’Donnell, her parents Eamon, and Margaret Rafter.

Beloved mother of Frances. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, grandchildren, great granddaughters, brothers Edwards and Joe, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home Ballina (F26 V274) on Sunday evening 25th January from 6.00pm until 7:30pm.

Funeral will arrive to The Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Enniscrone for Requiem Mass at 12:30pm on Monday 26th of January, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass.
