Orlagh Dunne Pilates I love teaching Pilates classes. I meet lots of different people everyday. Everyone has something to gain from Pilates.

The Pilates method is a unique system that stretches and strengthens the muscles of the body, giving improved strength, balance, breathing, posture, alignment and flexibility. You will become aware of your strengths and weaknesses, and gain the ability to correct your weaknesses enabling you to rebalance your body’s entire mechanism. Pilates works on strengthening the body’s central core using the abdominal muscles to control the different movements. You learn to focus your mind as you exercise the body gradually improving your awareness, and gaining better control and co-ordination. Pilates exercises are all adaptable to the needs of the individual this makes Pilates suitable for everyone regardless of age, size or fitness level. It has proved very successful over many years in helping people to rehabilitate from injury.
