John’s wife Lexie and family wish to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who supported and sympathised with our recent sad bereavement.
Thanks to all that called to our home, gave mass and sympathy cards, telephoned, sent messages and made donations to the Carndonagh Community Hospital.
We also want to thank all the people who attended the requiem mass and funeral especially those who travelled long distances.
Heartfelt thanks to our extended family members, neighbours and friends who helped out so willingly during the wake also the local businesses we thank you for your generosity.
We would like to extend our appreciation to Dr Falls, Dr Downey and staff at Carndonagh health centre for their support throughout out John’s illness.
We are extremely grateful to the staff of Carndonagh Community Hospital for the care and compassion they showed John.
Also we would like to express our gratitude to John’s home carers for their kind support shown.
Thanks to Fr Mc Devitt for the lovely funeral mass and support throughout the wake, Danny for the music and Breege for preparing the church.
A special word of thanks to Fr Sweeney for his prayers spiritual support and many home visits during John’s illness.
We would like to thank Mc Feeley Funeral Directors for their personal and professional funeral arrangements and to the Ballylifin Hotel for the beautiful funeral meal.
As it’s impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.

The death has occurred at his home of Brian Harkin, number 12 binnon cottage’s, Clonmany F93T4A8.
Much loved husband of Rose, deeply regretted by his sons and daughters Michael,Ursula,Siobhan, Brian, Colleen and Owen, devoted grandfather to Scarlett, Callum, Matthew, Connor, Niamh, Cassie, Sophie and Riley.
Sadly missed by his sons in law, daughters in law,wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Brian’s remains will be reposing at the family home today Saturday at 5:30pm where you are welcome to pay your respects.
Funeral from there on Monday morning at 10:30am going to St Mary’s Church Clonmany for requiem mass at 11:00am with burial afterwards in the new cemetery.
Family time please from 10:00pm till 11:00am.

Acknowledgement & Month’s Mind Mass

We the family of the late Mary Harkin would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on the recent death of our beloved Wife, Mother, Granny and Sister.

Thank you to all who came to the house to pay their respects. Thank you too everyone who attended the funeral or watched it on-line, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolences, travelled long distances to be with us. We thank all also all those who helped in any way at the wake and funeral.

Thank you to Fr Kevin Doherty for the beautiful Mass to celebrate Mary’s life, to Roisin and Seamus for the lovely music and singing. Thanks to Mc Feeley Funeral Directors for their professionalism kindness and support throughout the wake and funeral.

We would also like to thank the Ambulance Service and all the Doctors and Nurses of Letterkenny A&E Department for everything you did for Mary that night.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our appreciation. Your kindness will always be remembered.

The sudden death has occurred of Mary Harkin Cruckaheeny (nee Mc Daid) Upper Glebe, Clonmany, F93H5Y3.

Beloved wife of John, much loved mother of Michelle (Chris), Patricia (Brian), Shauna (Ollie) and Damien (Ciara), devoted grandmother of Evan, Courtney, Eoghan, Oisín, Caoimhe, Rebecca, Ruby and Olivia.

Deeply regretted by her sisters and brothers Seamus, Rosaleen, Margaret, Bridie and Brendan.

Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, family friends and neighbours.

May She Rest In Peace.

Her remains will be reposing at the family home on Monday, the 11th at 5:00 pm.

The wake is private to family, friends and neighbours at the request of the deceased.

Funeral from there on Wednesday morning at 10:20 am, going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11:00 am with burial immediately afterwards in the new cemetery.

Sheila Doherty
Doherty, Sheila — Age 90, of Peabody, formerly of Castles, Isle of Doagh, Clonmany, County Donegal, Ireland. Beloved daughter of the late Henry and Kate Doherty (Denary). Sheila was predeceased by her devoted husband of over 52 years, Thomas A. Doherty, in April 2010.

Sheila immigrated to the United States in 1953 at the age of 19. Shortly after her arrival, she met the love of her life at an Irish dance— a serendipitous encounter that blossomed into a beautiful marriage and lifelong partnership. Together, they built a home rooted in faith, love, laughter, and strong Irish traditions. Sheila’s infectious laughter and warm spirit brought joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Loving mother of Henry Doherty (Gail), Rosemary Kearney (Michael) of Lynnfield, Kathleen Doherty (fiancé Michael Frehe) of Chicago, Thomas Doherty of Wakefield, Sheila Ryan (Christopher) of Lynnfield, and Maureen Gaffney (Bernard) of Simsbury, CT. Cherished grandmother of Kerrie, Kevin, Mathew, Kristen, Daniel, Sean, Patrick, Thomas, Shannon, Christopher, Conor, Bernard, Brendan, Meghan, and Mary Kate. Proud great-grandmother of Charlotte, Brogan, Owen, Nova, Landon, Dakota, and Maverick.

Sheila had 14 brothers and 3 sisters and is survived by Joseph, Ambrose, George and Martin.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Grove and Salem Streets, Lynnfield, on Monday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield, prior to the Mass from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheila’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

We, the family of the late Benny Donaghey would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who
offered their kindness, support and sympathy during our recent bereavement.
Heartfelt thanks to all who called at our home, attended the funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards and
those that made donations to Saint Columbcille's Village.
To our extended family members, our neighbours and friends who brought food, helped at our home
and with parking, words cannot express how much your love and support have meant to us. We also
deeply appreciate the generosity of the local businesses.
Thanks to Cathal, Jackie and staff of The Ballyliffin Townhouse for refreshments after the funeral.
We are especially grateful to the doctors and staff at Inishowen Medical, to the staff at Brennans
Pharmacy Clonmany, to the Cardiology and Hematology teams at LUH for the compassionate and
attentive care they gave to Benny throughout the years.
Thank you to the palliative care team, Mary & Kieran, the district nurses, Dee & Patricia, that helped us
care for Benny at home. Your presence went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for.
Profound thanks to Fr Sweeney for his prayers and spiritual support.
To our dear friend, Fr Paul Farren, thank you for taking the time to visit so often and the beautiful
celebration of Benny's funeral mass, we couldn't have asked for anything more fitting.
Thanks to Danny and Joanne for the beautiful singing at Benny's funeral.
Sincere appreciation to Urris GAA for the respect shown to Benny with the guard of honour. Gabh raibh
