The Green Witches

The Green Witches The Green Witches are Holistic Health Therapists working from our Spa rooms in Doneraile. We also have an exciting new retail space ❤️

Two Green Witches is a family owned and run business. We are mother and daughter, Dawn Flemming Dip.Aroma, CA, MCMA, is a qualified Aromatherapist, Massage Therapist and Skin Consultant. Ann-Marie Simpson Dip.MT, Dip.HHT, Dip.IT
is a qualified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Holistic Health Practitioner and Skincare & Haircare Product Formulator - together we are TWO GREEN WITCHES. Our name, Two Green Witches is inspired by the Celtic pagan meaning of ‘Green Witch’, who was a person, usually female, knowledgeable in herbalism and healing. Like Airmid and Brigit, the Celtic pagan healer’s and alchemists, Green Witches are in tune with nature, they are aligned with plants, healing, natural energy and creativity. We know about plant life and the different ways herbs and plants can be used to produce natural remedies, potions and oils. As modern Green Witches we have learnt to use the natural magic of herbs, flowers, essential oils and more, to bring an 'holistic' approach to health and wellbeing. Our holistic healing therapies and treatments of aromatherapy, massage, acupressure, lymph drainage, meditation and mindfulness either individually or in harmony with each other offer healing to the mind, body and spirit. We use essential oils along side our own natural, handcrafted, chemical free lotions and creams to ensure you get the best possible outcomes from our treatments, and to help you achieve physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and balance, while enabling their healing nutrients to support the body's natural health. Every ingredient, in all of our products, is completely natural, we do not use any artificial preservatives, colourings, or additives of any kind. Some of the ingredients we use are also organic and all are suitable for vegans, as the surfactants and collagens that we use are completely plant based and bio-degradable.

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is celebrate yourself.

Not in a loud way, but in a quiet, honest way where you acknowledge how far you’ve come.

The days you kept going when things felt heavy.
The times you showed up even when your confidence was shaky.
The moments you chose growth, healing, or courage instead of staying small.

So many of us are quick to celebrate everyone else but feel uncomfortable doing the same for ourselves.

But recognising your own strength isn’t arrogance — it’s self-respect.

Today, give yourself credit.
For the healing.
For the lessons.
For the courage it took just to keep moving forward.

You are allowed to be proud of yourself.

We are going to be sharing stories of courageous women, real women and we would love to feature your story. It can be about taking courage to start a training course, change careers, ending a relationship, taking up the space you deserve.

You can accompany a photo if you like or you can remain anonymous ❤️

Message us with your stories.

Courage isn’t always about facing big challenges with a crowd cheering you on.
Sometimes, it’s about stepping out alone, whether it’s trying a new class, going for a walk in a new park, or sitting in a café just with your thoughts. 🌿

Doing something alone can feel intimidating at first, but it’s also freeing. It reminds you that your own company is enough and that your confidence grows when you rely on yourself.

This March, challenge yourself to take one small step alone and notice the strength it brings. 💪✨

Instead of criticising your body today…
try thanking it.

Thank it for the walk.
Thank it for the workout.
Thank it for carrying you through another day.

Your body doesn’t need punishment.

It needs support, care, and appreciation.

Confidence grows when we learn to respect the body we live in.

What is one thing your body helped you do today?

For so many years we were taught to criticise our bodies.

Too big.
Too small.
Too different.

But what if the problem was never our bodies?

Your body is not the enemy.
It breathes for you.
Moves for you.
Carries you through every single day.

Body confidence begins when we stop fighting ourselves and start working with our bodies instead of against them.

Picture of shells on a beach in Portugal, couldn’t find a photo for the theme and then noticed how each shell is unique…….

Confidence doesn’t always come from feeling comfortable.

Sometimes it comes from doing the things that push you outside your comfort zone…
wearing the outfit, taking the photo, showing up even when that little voice in your head tells you not to.

Every time you do something that scares you a little, you grow.

Body confidence isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about learning to own who you are and appreciating what your body carries you through every day.

So today’s reminder…
Turn up Just a Girl by No Doubt, take up space, and don’t shrink yourself for anyone.

Own who you are. 💪✨

05/03/2026

As we get closer to International Women’s day we are celebrating all women. We are celebrating ourselves and pushing our selves out of our comfort zone 💪

No longer shrinking to fit. We are not part of a one size fits all society.

We our ourselves and we will be seen and heard!

Thanks

Body confidence isn’t just physical.
It’s mental. 🤍

It’s the way you speak to yourself when no one else can hear.

It’s choosing not to tear yourself apart in the mirror.
It’s noticing the critical thought… and softening it.
It’s understanding that some days your body feels heavier because your mind is.

Mental health and body confidence are deeply connected.

When we’re anxious, we tense.
When we’re stressed, we hold it in our shoulders, our stomachs, our chest.
When we’re overwhelmed, we disconnect from ourselves.

Learning body confidence is also learning nervous system safety.
Breathing deeper.
Standing taller.
Letting your body feel supported instead of judged.

Your body is not the enemy.
It’s been carrying you through every hard season.

Speak to it like it’s on your side — because it is. ✨

Strong mind.
Supported body.
Softer self-talk.
