Focus - adductor strength & flexibility 💪
This is an area that’s often hard to target, especially in yoga. The adductors (the muscles along the inner thighs) play a key role in both stability and movement, but can often be overlooked 👀 Here are some examples of movements/exercises that I included in my classes to target this group of muscles.
In the clips I’ve shared I had to combine a few moves cause I had more than 10 clips 😅 Check out the clips for ideas to explore on your mat and don’t forget to like and save this post!

Feeling incredibly grateful today after our Yoga Day Retreat yesterday 🧘‍♀️ There's nothing quite like seeing my students connect with themselves and each other 💕
It's a chance to step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and really tune in to what matters most. I love being able to guide my students through their practice, and watching them leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and empowered.
It's truly an honor to be able to share this practice with others in such a meaningful way. 🙏

To celebrate adding an extra yogalates class to my weekly schedule due to popular demand I have decided to do a giveaway.
Details below ⬇️

Yogalates is a combination of yoga & pilates. I absolutely love this style and so do my students 🙌
It is a well rounded class that will help improve your strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, body & breath awareness in a fun, friendly and non competitive environment ⚖️
The class is mixed level and I will offer plenty of options/variations throughout to suit all levels, experiences & bodies 💪
The class will be on Thursday evenings from 7-8pm in St. Columbas GNS in Douglas starting from next Thursday the 9th of March. Pre booking is essential!

Who’s in for some yin? 🧘‍♂️☮️😴

Join me for Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra next Tuesday the 6th of December from 20.15-21.30pm(ish) for the perfect practice to help you through the Christmas craziness🎄

This class will be held both in person and online. So you can either join me in person in Douglas or tune in via zoom from the comfort of your own home. The class will also be recorded so if the live time doesn’t suit you can get the playback 🤩

We will be focusing on surrendering and letting go in our bodies and minds.
It is a very gentle meditative practice and is much more about tuning into ourselves, connecting to our breath, and to the present moment. Its about feeling and being rather than doing!!
Yoga nidra is a guided deep relaxation which will help set you up for a good nights sleep.
This class is suitable for everyone and anyone and really isn’t one you want to miss out on 💞

I only have a few spaces left to join in person but I have plenty of space to join online.

After a really sh*tty nights sleep (endometriosis is no joke!)I woke up this morning feeling tired, cranky and emotional. After talking myself onto my mat all I can say is thank f # for yoga 😜🧘‍♀️💞

Join me for some Yindulgence next Tuesday the 20th of Sept from 20.00-21.20pm.

This Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra class is a hybrid of in person & online meaning you can either join me live online from the comfort of your own home or join me in person in Douglas. The class will also be recorded with a 7 day playback available.

Yin yoga is a slow, meditative practice that can be enjoyed by anyone.
It’s a beautiful practice to just allow yourself BE. It can help to relieve stress, reduce anxiety, promote better sleep, increase flexibility and strengthen joints and increase mindfulness.

During this practice you will hold various seated and lying down pose for a few minutes at a time offering you space to be with your body, be with your mind, let go of what no longer serves and makes space for what fulfills you.
It’s the perfect antidote to the busyness of everyday life.

This class will be 80mins. We will spend the first 60mins practicing yin yoga and the last segment of the class will be yoga nidra.
Yoga nidra is a lying down guided deep relaxation through breath awareness, bodily sensations and visualisation and is great for aiding in deep relaxation and preparing you for a good nights sleep 😴
