We provide an award winning and professional Funeral service on a full-time basis in a uniquely caring and family environment. Established in 1988 by Paddy and his wife Patricia Townley. Our family centred approach has children Paula and Aidan fully involved in the day to day contact with families, with Maurice & Barbara also involved. Our dedicated staff ensure that your loved one’s final journey is arranged with meticulous attention to detail, in a dignified, compassionate and empathetic way. Our ethos has always been ‘Our family taking care of yours’. Our Funeral Home at Crosslanes, was completely renovated and extended in 2017 to offer families a tranquil setting to allow friends and family pay their final respects. With four separate viewing rooms, two arrangements rooms, a coffin show room, tearoom and shop providing signed Mass cards and flowers, we can comfortably cater for large numbers of mourners and there is ample secure, off-road parking. We continue to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to those that need us. All religious denomination funerals are catered for and we provide a complete repatriation service.

The death has occurred of Tommy Costello, Bóther Brugha, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and Collon. 25th December 2025. Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by his loving family, aged 101 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Annie, mother Brigid, father James, his eight sisters and two brothers. Tommy will be very sadly missed by his sons Oliver and Derek, daughters-in-law Catherine and Bernadette, his beloved grandchildren John, Robert, Mary, Thomas, Mark, Niall, David, and Edel, great-grandchildren Tom, Charlie, Emily, Caoimhe, William, Luke, Jack, Hollie, Annie, Amber, Noah, Vada, and Eliana, nieces and nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends
May Tommy Rest in Peace

Reposing in Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes (A92 XN75) on Sunday from 3pm until 5pm
Funeral Mass at 11.30am on Monday in Our Lady of Lourdes Church which can be viewed live on www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie

Burial will take place afterwards in St Peters Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Margaret (Maggie) Coyle, née Black, Newfield, Drogheda, Co. Louth. 24th December 2025, Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband William and son-in-law Joe. Beloved mother to Geraldine, Margaret and Michael. Margaret, sadly missed by her daughters, son, son-in-law Gerard, daughter-in-law Marie, grandchildren Keith, Rachel, Nathan and Robyn, great-grandchildren Leah and Chloe, brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family and friends.
May Maggie Rest in Peace

Reposing at her home on Friday and Saturday from 2pm until 7pm.
