✨️YTT GRADUATION✨️
Wow… what an experience!
Congratulations to the 15 incredible humans who are now officially qualified yoga teachers! 🎓🧘♀️🧘♂️
I’m so, so proud of you all. It’s been an absolute pleasure to spend the last six months with you - the laughs, the chats, the bonds, and the interest in learning have been pure medicine 💛
From a personal perspective, this has been an unbelievable learning experience and, dare I say, achievement for me.
Being asked by my wonderful teacher and friend, Babs, to co-teach on this 200hr Yoga Teacher Training was a total dream come true for me. Of course, being the perfectionist I can be, I had all the doubts - Am I ready? Do I know enough? What if it all goes wrong?😅
So, saying yes was a big step outside my comfort zone.
And then I went and asked to teach the Yoga Anatomy. What?! 😂
Never in a million years did I think that would be something I’d want to or feel ready to do on my first training. But things change, thankfully.
Over the past few years, I’ve developed such a deep appreciation for the human body and all it’s capable of. I wanted to share that appreciation, to help others see that it may not always look or feel how we would like it to, but wow - our bodies are pretty damn amazing.
We should try to be grateful every day for what they can do and focus less on what they can’t or what we perceive they aren’t.
I’ve loved every second of this experience (even with a few personal bumps along the way).
And yes, I even really enjoyed putting the manual together… total yoga nerd here🤓
It was such a joy to teach much longer practices too - giving us space to go deeper into the technical stuff and really soak up the magic of Pranayama and Yoga Nidra.
And Spain… don’t even get me started on Spain.
The place, the food, the staff at were all out of this world. So good we’re going back in 2026! ☀️
To Babs, the newly qualified teachers, and the amazing team at House of Light - thank you for making this one of the best experiences of my life. 🙏
