Looking ahead to an important date in the Irish professional speaking calendar. PSA Ireland returns this February with Grow, a focused gathering for speakers and business owners who want to develop their craft, strengthen their message and build sustainable speaking careers.

This event marks Brian Downes’ first gathering as Regional President of PSA Ireland, and something I’m really looking forward to.

We are delighted to welcome keynote speakers Dr Lollie Mancey and John Burns FCMA, MInstCPD.

As always, the day will include networking, member showcases and constructive feedback in a supportive, professional environment.

This event will also see members compete to represent Ireland in the Emerging Speaker of the Year competition. As an entrant last year, the growth and learning gained while preparing was immense. I am looking forward to hearing our emerging speakers this year!

If you are serious about using speaking to grow your business, or about developing as a professional speaker, this is a date worth putting in the diary.

Every Tues in Duleek in The Courthouse in Duleek

Every Thursday in Stamullen Parish Hall.

Currently, I'm trying to find another child psychotherapist to help manage our teenager waiting list. We can only see four children each Tuesday, and we offer each child six free sessions. As soon as I have someone under contract, I will post here.

Over and Out Folks!

What a year this has been. Thank you all for supporting me through so much change, transition, and to you all my clients it is beyond words just how much I appreciate you all.

To everyone who listened, liked, gave me an opportunity, attended a workshop or talk and to my mentor, fellow coaches, and colleagues at and .therapy I wish you all a well deserved restful holiday with lashings of nature, joy, silence, craic, calm and whatever recipe works for you.

If you’re reviewing your year, let this be what you measure...

The fears you faced
The connections you nurtured
The patience you held while growing The moments you chose courage over fear
The risks you took, regardless of the outcome
The grace you showed yourself while learning
The the strength you found in your hardest moments
The resilience you showed when life pushed back
The love you gave, openly and unapologetically

Plugging into yourself and your own Wellness this Christmas is the best gift you will ever give yourself.

I want to talk about something that’s been sitting in my chest lately.

This mix of excitement… and fear… that comes with launching something new.

For me, right now — it’s my new website. My labour of love!

The next iteration of my business. All my experience, expertise and education all in one place.

It feels raw and vulnerable, but very exciting in equal measure.

Perhaps you have felt the same. Maybe it’s not a website for you.

But it could just as easily be a new job, a new business, implementing a new idea, beginning a new chapter.

And I wanted to share what it’s bringing up for me, because maybe you’re in that place too.

The truth is this…. Even even though I coach others through big transitions and bold moves…
This feels vulnerable.
Like standing on a stage in front of people, hoping they get it. Hoping they get me.

All these thoughts come up:
“Is it good enough?”
“What if no one sees it?”
“What if people do see it… and judge it?”

And I know I’m not alone in that.
Anytime we step into the unknown, whether it’s leaving a job, sharing a creative project, or saying yes to something scary….

It brings up that voice in our heads that wants to keep us safe… but small.

Here’s what I remind myself:
You don’t need to feel ready to take the next step.

You just need to be willing to feel uncomfortable, and take the step anyway.

You can be proud of your progress and still tweaking things.

You can launch quietly, gently, and still be bold.

You can feel fear, and still choose courage.

And that’s what this is.
Not a perfect, polished moment.
Just a real, human one — about showing up for what matters.

So if you’re launching something, trying something, changing something
I see you.

It’s not easy, but it’s worth it.
